Viggo as a Bond villain is something I wouldn't mind seeing.

He was terrifying in 'Eastern Promises'.

I think a cool feature we could do for this thread, as the exact title is 'Coming Soon to Cinemas near you', should be to post a reminder on major films coming in the next 30 days once a new month starts.

So, to start of with July 2016:

(before anyone asks - I left out a particular reboot for a reason ;) )

And this was the first pic of Idris Elba in the same film:

I can't say that I would mind, either...

Viggo is criminally underrated. He'd absolutely kill it as a Bond villain.

This is probably the most brutal fight I've ever seen. I still cringe at some of the hits in this scene, despite having seen the film countless times. Sheer brutality, intensity and realism. The choregraphy, sound effects/blood effects are extremely effective here.

Unveiling of the poster means the trailer should be here shortly, I hope! I need to see some 'Hacksaw Ridge' footage.

Wow @ClarkDevlin! Scott Adkins is a proper beast, I will be sure to check this out (and the original with JCVD, I'm ashamed to say I never saw it).

I enjoyed the first one a lot. And being a fan of Scott Adkins, I'll be sure to enjoy this one a lot, too. Convenient, isn't it? Adkins was JCVD's henchman in The Expendables 2. :D

@ClarkDevlin I have tons of JCVD films to watch, I really like the guy but never had the chance to go through his filmography. As a matter of fact, the only film of his I saw is 'Expendables 2'.

Talking of of the old fella - I'm going to watch JCVD in JCVD - his best acting performance, but AWOL and Sudden Death are top top top top top top top top top top top top top top movies.

Hard Target 2? Really? The original is my favourite JCVD film. Given that Adkins has appeared3 of JCVD films, one might be forgiven for thinking that Adkins is something of a protégé of Van Damme's.

First reviews for 'The Infiltator' with Bryan Cranston are in... and apparently the film is a winner! 'Highly tense and addictive' film with a Cranston firing on all cylinders.

@DaltonCraig007, my friend has been itching to return to the movies sooner than the end of the month (we already have 'Jason Bourne' planned for opening day) and he mentioned this, so I might say screw it and go in blind to see it. I don't remember much from the trailer, so hopefully I enjoy it if we go.

I'm not surprised The Infiltrator is highly regarded. Cranston and the supporting cast is top notch. Serious subject matter for a serious actor. I'll definitely be watching it.

Looks good @DaltonCraig007. Creepy but compelling. I haven't seen a good flesh eating flick in ages - in fact I think the last one was World War Z.

Looks like a proper twist on the zombie genre, with a great cast to boot. I'm in!

@Creasy47 I had the same thought today when I saw tons of trailers before 'Legend of Tarzan'. I am going to check out 'Bastille Day' with Idris Elba next week. He really looked even more like a total beast when seen on the big screen.

I've been looking into Bastille Day for a while now. I like the concept, as it gives Idris a chance to do a spy film in the vein of Bond that he'd never get to do otherwise.

For any interested, I wouldn't suggest looking into too many of the trailers, as I already know more than I wanted to from viewing just one. I'd say TV spots only, if even that.

Isn't 'Patriots Day' about the Boston Marathon bombings?
