I'm also looking forward to seeing Keeping Up With The Joneses, which also comes out on the 21st.

@Tuulia, is that about the Chubbuck story? Hall does look a lot like her, should be quite the interesting movie with a dark finale.

I just looked up the story as I was curious (I'm usually a Hall fan - both of them). Subject matter is a bit depressing imho.

@Creasy47, yes, it is about that.

:O The Fire,Fire movie has a great cast..I haven't heard of it but it sounds interetsting.
What's with all these movies that are posted here that I haven't heard of before... thanks for the posters and trailers guys.

And for those that wanted my comments on Sully. I liked it. It's not amazing movie but it's a solid movie. You can always rely on Hanks for a solid time at the theatre.

@dragonsky, "solid" is exactly what I thought it would be...

Now this looks pretty good... (I wish the guy would stop acting and cast better actors instead, but oh well...)

Yes, that looks fantastic, was wondering when a teaser trailer would finally hit. Apparently, this will be out around Christmas in a limited fashion (in hopes of an Oscar run), before releasing wide in January 2017.

Well... the cinematography looks good (no surprise), I really like the song (Arsonist's Lullaby by Hozier), I like some of the cast, and the source material is Dennis Lehane - in other words no doubt very good, but I never saw anything special in Affleck's previous movies and his insistence on casting himself as the lead is kinda sad from my personal pow. (Besides, the character here is supposed to be considerably younger than he is - from late teens to late 20s, but I guess he just wants to be the lead anyway, so he doesn't care. He could also go for some nepotism and cast his brother who's at least an infinitely better actor, but nope, gotta star himself.) I still expect to see it, though. Never yet saw a movie based on Lehane stuff that was actually bad, so... heck, I should read more of him, too...

That looks fantastic. Obvious influence of gangster and noir, with Ben as a convincing lead. He's doing now what Clint Eastwood has always done, directing himself in a big feature, so I see no issues there. It looks quite thrilling with great period setting, cast, and gorgeous to look at as well.

Umm... Brady, I didn't say that I think directing oneself is a problem...
If you find Ben Affleck convincing, okay. We simply disagree there. I've always found his laborous and wooden acting utterly unconvincing and sort of painful to watch. Having him as a lead is just... exhausting, and it takes me an extra effort to get through the movie.

Wikipedia describes it as an action thriller, all I see here is action comedy. And that's a very good thing because I damn well enjoy them! :D

Charlto Kopley? Action comedy? Say no more!

Keanu is one of these guys who doesn't age. Looks almost the same now as he did 20 yrs ago. Looks like we're in for some serious martial arts action given the pose and the location.

Free Fire looks interesting. A bit reminiscent of Hateful Eight, where it all seems to take place in one interior setting, and go south quickly.

Definitely, and Hateful Eight itself was "Reservoir Dogs in the 1870s".

That's a good point. My mind actually flashed back to Reservoir Dogs as well when typing my last comment.

@bondjames and @ClarkDevlin, have you seen the recent flat-out action film, 'Hardcore Henry', featuring Sharlto Copley? The guy makes such awesome films, like 'District 9'.

No @DaltonCraig007, I haven't seen that one, but it's on my list for a blu ray viewing. I have heard of it though. I don't think I've seen any of his films yet.

After 'Beasts of No Nation', another classic Netflix produced war film?
