As in John Wick, the cool cat? Could be.

I have to say, that cat looked unfazed by that knife, while John Wick looks beside himself with those guns pointing his way. I hate cats, but I respect their stoic demeanor and devil may care way in the face of danger.

That cat should get into acting. What an expression.

Move over Liam Neeson, there's a new badass in town, that cat.

Yes, that's a look that would make Charles Bronson think twice.

It looks like the cat is saying, "You and I both know you don't have the balls to stab me with that thing, so you might as well give me a back scratch with it while you're here."

Also I know how I sound but...I didn't like John Wick. With that said the traielr for the 2nd one looks pretty good.

Umm? I don't know how you sound. Like someone who simply didn't like a movie? It's not like you need to be in any way apologetic about that.

What's with the cat pic? Was it to me? A comment on the poster? Something else?

I agree the trailer looks good.

If they hurt his dog this time, the bastards deserve everything that is coming to them.

Of course the dog is going to get it. Bond can't sleep with a secondary girl without signing her death warrant; John Wick can't have pets. If he has a shred of kindness for animals in his heart, he'll get a goldfish at the end of this next one.

(Not that I have anything against goldfish...)

John Wick should do what John Preston (Equilibrium) did - kill the bastards before they hurt the dog. ;)

I wrote that I didn't like the Power Rangers and after that I wrote that I didn't like John Wick, so someone could've easily replied with "Is there anything you like??" haha

The cat picture is a comment on the poster, that's what it reminded me when I first saw it :D

@Tuulia, I just prefer pets with the capability to feel compassion and express loyalty. I'll stick with dogs. :o3

    What about raccoons?

The danger of rabies is too high, I'm sorry. Outside of dogs the only other pets I would consider are otters, as they are essentially water dogs. I draw the line there, however.

  • What about raccoons?

Raccoons have all the worst attributes of cats and dogs combined! They're sneaky, deft with their hands, trouble-causing, at times destructive, and large enough to be potentially dangerous to a human. Raccoons indeed!

Cats do. (Often more than many people.) I've had a cat, he was very affectionate. And you should have seen him just sit where the dog's little house used to be when one day it and the dog had mysteriously disappeared. (They had always been pals.) I've had a friend's cat come and greet me, and later follow me to the door to say goodbye every time I visited for years. Until she got old... she couldn't get up, but said her greeting from the next room, still recognizing me despite not having seen me for a couple of years (they had moved, etc.).

I don't know what kind of cats you've known. But hey, some people have been bitten and scared by a dog as a kid or something, and then hate all dogs after that. In my experience both most cats and most dogs are wonderful if they are well treated and they know they can trust you.

I usually mean no ill will against cats, and my negative comments on them can be somewhat exaggerated, though I do feel they are especially cold and calculating, and downright cunning at times (but again, I respect this). They are selfish creatures and play humans like fiddles, with a pride almost unmatched in the animal kingdom.

I've somewhat manufactured a rivalry between myself and them over the years just to keep life interesting, but there are times when a cat and I stare at each other and it's like Holmes and Moriarty meeting for the first time. Instant conflict. Then the damn cats follow up our stare down by rubbing their sides on my legs to tease me and try and defuse my dislike of them by acting like they enjoy my company just to set me off.

Like I said, they're damn cunning, and my respect for them is much like the respect that Bond and his villains share. Cats and I will navigate each other in a classy enough manner, but our difference of opinion and dislike of each other isn't lost on either of us.

Looks like somebody watched Triple X, Batman Begins, Mi4, Skyfall and Spectre with that John Wick 2 trailer. The Chinees Wall movie have 7 writers, include Tony Gilroy from the Bourne movies and Edward Zwick from The Last Samurai. With that power rangers movie i am afraid it wil be more like Fantastic Four 1 & 2 or The Green Lantern. Whyle it should be atleast close to Turtles movie from 2014.

Also that WIck poster reminds me of this scene from Tangled:

Btw on topic we're getting Jack Reacher 2 on 20th this month. I hope is good. Are you guys looking forward to this one? I hope it does well on the boxoffice so maybe we can get another action/thriller trilogy/semi-franchise maybe?

Ritchie To Helm Disney’s Live-Action “Aladdin”

    Monday, October 10th 2016 11:37 am

“Snatch” and “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie has been hired to direct the live-action “Aladdin” movie in development at Disney Pictures.

The original 1992 animated movie is a comedic spin on the Arabian Nights tale of a young man granted three wishes by a genie trapped in a lamp. The genie was voiced by the late Robin Williams and became one of his most iconic performances.

“Aladdin” was the top grosser of 1992 and won Academy Awards for best score and best song for “A Whole New World.”

The new “Aladdin” script has been written by John August while Dan Lin will produce.

I fail to see the point of all these live action Disney films beyond recycling old films done better in animation for more profit.

We're never going to see a third Ritchie Holmes film.

If we get a third Holmes film, it won't be a while, with this on Ritchie's plate and Downey Jr. doing the back-to-back 'Avengers' movies.

Actually, the third Holmes film is ready to start filming sometime this fall.

@ClarkDevlin, link? I know everyone involved was interested in getting it done this fall, but with Ritchie signing up for this and other cast members having prior commitments, it looks like it won't be filming for another year, at least.

Seriously doubt that. The next 2 Avengers films start filming next month and last up until next Spring/Summer.

At 86 years of age, Clint Eastwood shows no signs of stopping, as he sets his sights on his next film as director: a film about an Aid worker who was kidnapped for 93 days in Somalia. Script written by Brian Helgeland.

@ClarkDevlin, yes, that's the article I was talking about. That was back before this whole 'Aladdin' thing was on Ritchie's schedule, which will surely derail production on another 'Sherlock Holmes' movie for another year, at least.
