I just hope the special effects are better in this one. The CGI was awful in the 2nd one. A real let down for me.

JJ Abrams has finally confirmed that the upcoming space-set film God's Particle is indeed the 3rd film in the Cloverfield universe.

I have not seen either of the Cloverfield films, but 10 Cloverfield Lane has my interest. It looks more like a psychological horror thriller, than a straight up horror.

Inferno is not getting good reviews at all. But then I researched and found out that Davinci Code and Angels and demons didn't get good reviews either and I highly enjoyed both. So ill take that with a grain of salt and take the wifey to see Inferno on Saturday

It´s definitely no straight up horror. I liked it a lot. Given that there´s not that much actual connection between Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane, I´m curious what a "connected" space-set film is going to be like.

Apparently a trailer for Scorsese's 'Silence' was shown to the press last night. 'Hallucinatory quality' and 'speechless' are the most used reactions I can find from those who saw it. According to them there is plenty of footage with Liam Neeson featured in the trailer.

@DaltonCraig007, I can't wait to see it. I have a feeling that with that and Hacksaw Ridge, Andrew Garfield has a good chance of getting an Oscar this year.

Then i'll add it to my wanted list (and the original).

I'm looking forward to Silence @DaltonCraig007. The cast alone is worth the trip, & Howard Shore on scoring duties is a worthy bonus.

By the way, what was that image you posted a few posts up? I can't seem to view it.

Ok, thanks @DaltonCraig007. I'm looking forward to that one as well, although they seem to have given too much away in the trailers I've seen.

Exactly my thoughts, and a shame, really. Hopefully there's more to the film than that, and what've we've seen is rather small apples in comparison to what the movie is really about.

I hope so as well. What's annoying is that the trailer preceded another film I watched in the theatre, and so it was difficult to turn away or ignore it (unless I chose to cover both my ears as well as my eyes). At least on here we can just avoid clicking on it.

Ugh, I hate when that happens. The unavoidable spoilery trailers are the worst.

Lord knows how many rewrites this script has seen. Is there even a script?

In light of parts of the second film looking as if they were based on an abandoned script for a Wild Wild West sequel, I´m not sure at all what to think of this franchise...

Not to mention, having the Two Mules For Sister Sara playing loudly you'd think it's a western. Basically, a steampunk film inspired by Doyle's works and rejuvenated.

That isn't to say I didn't enjoy it.

Tom Cruise has joined the blockbuster epic 'Methuselah', from the director of upcoming 5th 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Tom Cruise will play ''a man who lived for almost 1,000 years without ageing, all while developing a set of unparalleled survival skills.''

Oh no, not just Scientology, but now also Apocalypse from the X-Men?

Well this looks like a perfect role for Tom. He may not be 1000 years old, but he's certainly gone for quite a number of years without visibly ageing and while also developing an unparalleled set of skills. He doesn't even need to act in this one.

I look forward to Silence the more I hear about it. Got a feeling it will go down as one of Scorsese's biggest triumphs.

The new film from the director of 'Safe House', with Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Fergusson and Ryan Reynolds.

Rebecca Ferguson? I'm in without even watching the trailer, and despite Ryan Reynolds.

If there´s the remotest chance to see Ryan Reynolds explode in space, I´m in.
