Is he still doing another 'Tremors' movie? Thought I read some rumors recently that he was wanting to do another. Haven't seen the original since I was a kid, going to have to change that someday soon.
I also have a soft spot for 'Footloose.' Such a fun movie.
A quick update on the upcoming projects of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger:
In 2018, Stallone will direct and star in the true story war biopic Tough As They Come, about a American soldier in the Afghanistan, portrayed by Adam Driver, who loses all 4 limbs. That same year he'll also reprise his role of Ray Breslin in Escape Plan 2: Hades, with Dave Bautista joining the cast. A 3rd Escape Plan film has already been confirmed. Final film next year for him will be a true story crime/heist film, Idol's Eye also starring Rachel Weisz, directed by the Frenchman Olivier Assayas, who made the 'Carlos' miniseries. In 2019, Stallone will co-star alongside Jackie Chan in the action/thriller Ex Baghdad. No release year yet for the true story gangster flick, Scarpa, directed by The Infiltrator's Brad Furman.
Schwarzenegger will star in Why We're Killing Gunther, an action/comedy where he'll play the best hitman in the world, but he happens to be super arrogant, which pisses off his entire profession so all the other hitmen will try to kill him. And he will also star in Blanco a submarine/thriller film where Arnie will play a retired Naval officer forced to pilot a submarine full of cocaine for a Mexican drug cartel. If you're feeling this films sounds familiar, you aren't hallucinating: Liam Neeson has an identical film as this in his future projects: Narco Sub, with the exact same plot and main character, only Neeson is working for an Ecuadorian drug cartel, while Arnie is dealing with a Mexican drug cartel.
EDIT: Let's also have an update on Mel Gibson:
The crime/gangster/revenge with Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn, Dragged Across Concrete, is coming in 2018. And Gibson will have his own Paris-set action flick, Every Other Weekend, probably also coming in 2018. His next film, however, is the biopic titled The Professor and the Madman: ''Professor James Murray begins work compiling words for the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary in the mid 19th century and receives over 10,000 entries from a patient at Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum , Dr William Minor''. Mel Gibson is James Murray, Sean Penn is William Minor. To be released later this year.
Tremors 6 is on the way, but like the previous film, Michael Gross' Burt Gummer is the lead. I think it is a (another) Tremors tv series that Bacon wants to make.
Jafar should be much larger and skinni and middle east or indian born or looking actor.
For the part of Aladdin i think should consider Riz Ahmed http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1981893/
Also the Flatliners trailer looks good as well, but I haven't seen the original
This new South Korean historical action film looks very good:
EDIT: Second official trailer for 'Detroit':
Trailer for 'Goodbye Christopher Robin':
