@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, it wasn't so much spoilers as it was them talking about the films themselves, when I really don't know much about them. I'd like to see the movies and get insight into their characters first, but since it's really unrelated to that, I wouldn't mind watching it. Hawkes is one of the most underrated actors I've ever seen, and I would thoroughly enjoy seeing him in many more films.

Seven clips have been released for 'Gangster Squad':

  • Has anybody seen The Man With The Iron Fists? It's out in the UK next week and I'm really looking forward to it. If anybody has seen it please tell me what you think.

Seen it. Despite the promise it was just fighting for the sake of fighting with a few big stars.

Just buy The Raid and you will never ever need to watch another action movie again.

I enjoyed it for what it was but even though it had some cool weapons it didn't live up to my expectations.

The Raid was epic. My film of the year even after SF and I reckon it might actually be the best action film ever made. Definetly one of the best martial arts films I've ever seen.

  • Looks good.

'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' has added Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christopher Meloni, and Josh Brolin. I'm so excited for this movie:

I saw 'Brick', sort of an independent film starring Joseph that was basically a noir film set around a school and suburb. He can handle the noir style extremely well, and this news got me excited too. I have heard about Sin City 2 since 2007 or 2008, yet no developments until now on it. Is Miller directing again?

Yeah, alongside Robert Rodriguez. Should be good, I've been eagerly anticipating this release since I saw the first one back in 2005.

Frank has completely lost it, so I hope the cast and crew survive.

With Brolin playing a pre-surgery Dwight, Mickey Rourke returning as Marv, the beautiful Jamie Chung taking over for a now pregnant Devon Aoki as Miho, Joseph Gordon-Levitt being thrown into the mix, and the underrated Dennis Haysbert taking over for the great late Michael Clarke Duncan, this is one of my most anticipated films for the year. My only question: will Clive Owen come in to the picture, i.e. will they show the surgery, and we will have two actors playing the same character? Or is the story totally taking place before the event? I haven't read the graphic novels, so I'm not sure.

Is this a prequel? If not, how the hell is Marv in this?

It is; that's why Willis isn't returning as Hartigan, because he isn't around yet in the compilation of these three stories that culminate into this film.

I just figured Marv was such an incredible badass that he was virtually unstoppable.

I´m afraid I don´t feel like I´m 11 or even 22 again and want to see good acting and a good story /:) .

A good Day to Die Hard is getting an R rating:
    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=98805
Sounds great at first sight, but then the R-rated cut of DH4 wasn´t any better than the cinematic version.

Has this been posted? Especially in the second clip it´s very comfortable to listen to Schwarzenegger:

Quentin doing a great job at defending film. :D

    What do you mean?

I love how Quentin chews the interviewer out, then they just go back to the interview like nothing ever happened.

I think he was being a dick there, frankly. He's been asked the question lots and didn't want to repeat himself, fair enough. He could've just refused to answer and asked to move on. Instead he threw a hissy fit.

Well, like he said: He has openly given his piece on this issue his entire career. He shouldn't have to answer if he doesn't want to, and he would have left it at that if the interviewer didn't rudely press on. Every single interview I see with Quentin this question comes up, and it is like the interviewers just want a scoop for their network and couldn't give a toss about the film, the thing that (as Quentin said) was why they were there in the first place. I am completely on Quentin's side on this one, as I always will be when this issue rears its ugly head. Film violence and real violence aren't as close as people like to believe. Often film and video games are pointed at so that politicians have something to blame while they don't examine the important things, i.e., the parenting by the guardians of the shooter and the shooter's own mental deficiencies.

As it has oft been quoted:

Violence and destruction have been going on since the beginning of time, long before the age of celluloid and video games.

Plus, you've been given the opportunity to interview a highly talented director on his new film. If you ask him something that he doesn't want to answer, move on. Just be thankful you've been given such a chance to do so.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. After anticipating a sequel for years, I do another round of news and see this:

Fox is rebooting 'Hitman' - even though the Olyphant-starring version made a little under $100 million and never even reached a sequel - and is titling it 'Agent 47.' Who will play 47?

    Paul Walker.

    Wow.

Nice one, @Creasy47, but April Fools is a long ways off yet.

    ..
    ...
    ....
    .....
    ......

WAIT! This link actually works...oh my...SAY IT ISN'T SO?! :-&

Why can't they just get David Bateson? He IS Hitman. He already has more talent in one pinkie than Paul Walker ever can and who else can pull off the famous Agent 47 voice?

This film is written by the same guy that wrote the 2007 film's screenplay, so we can almost guarantee that it will be nothing like the games, and the director is a director of commercials...

    ...Yep, it'll be crap.

I really, really, really want that to be a joke. I wish this was an article they were saving for April 1st and accidentally released early, but alas, it's true.

That stale, bland acting of his just is not going to work, and I'm having a hard time picturing Walker completely bald.
