I just love how quickly remakes are being made these days. X(

There will be just seven years between these films.

Fast and the furious 6 is going to be crazy! I can't wait for the Gina Carano vs Michelle Rodriguez fight. With all that running around in the underground, SF could have used a scene like this between Bond and Silva.

  • Apparently a fair bit of it is set in England. Can't wait.

That's how I felt when I read that, only much, much, much more interested.

Pierce Brosnan set to lead 'Last Man Out.' Very nice to see him returning to action/thrillers, to a degree:

THey filmed a lot in Glasgow as well. Probably the fighting.....;-)

I have a concern about it (beyond the concerns that it'll be utterly stupid, which it will, and I'll enjoy it more as a result), no Jordana in the trailer? Is she just a cameo this time? I'll be greatly disappointed if she is.

@Ali, I'm guessing this is a little while after the events of 'Fast Five' so:
She'll either be too pregnant to take part in anything, or she's left to take care of the child while Dom and the gang go to work on receiving their pardons.

It can't be too long after as Han is still alive. IIRC he dies in Tokyo Drift and all the other movies fit in between the first and Drift.

The whole plot outline of the films has confused me. I'm under the impression that scrapped that idea and are just rolling with what they had now, and brushing the continuity issues under the rug.

Drift is the only true continuity error because of that reason. It's the one oddity in the series and doesn't really fit. I actually like it, but mainly because it is just The Karate Kid with cars! They can keep the continuity for as long as Dom looks the same as he does at the end of Drift, and Diesel is certainly showing little signs of ageing so far.

Either way, I'm very excited for 'Fast & Furious 6,' and the way they're setting it up with everyone receiving pardons, this would be the perfect place to end the movie. Would certainly keep the continuity and would be a great place to stop. But, I fear they'll be overwhelmed with how much money it makes and will greenlight another one.

Well, they were supposed to film 7 on the back of 6 but ditched that idea so this could well be the last one after all.

With any luck it ends after number seven but at this rate, why stop? It's another Transformers or Pirates of the Caribbean.

By that do you mean "another crappy series of films that refuses to die"? That's why I am reading into it. ;)

Yes, that's it. They'll never stop, it'll go onto Indy 4 land soon. Not So Fast and Not So Furious with the same cast in 2030. I can see it now.

At least Bay sems to have given up with Transformers. A blessed relief after the last one. Pirates should never have continued into 4. The trilogy was just fine as it stood. As for Indy, they still keep talking about a fifth!

Bay is directing 4. How in the hell is that "giving up"?

Is he? How? They killed all the main characters! I thought he was concentrating on ruining Ninja Turtles instead?

Indy 5 won't happen, not with Star Wars on the cards. As for Pirates of the Caribbean one was enough but number five is coming. :-O

A whole new cast for number four, it's out June 2014 and starts filming in May I believe.
  • Fast and Furious is a million times better than Transformers. They're fun action films with some great cars. If you don't like that good for you but it's by no means crap, the 5th one was the best in the series so I'm looking forward to the next one.

I'm sure people said they were dragging Bond on too long when Connery left and they made OHMSS, and look how that turned out.

Iron Man 3 looks great. It will show the studio what good can happen when Iron Man films aren't rushed!

Hangover 3 is out fairly soon so I'm surprised they still haven't released a trailer.

Still, I can't wait. The first one was just hilarious and the second one, although just more of the same, was still funny and entertaining.

@thelivingroyale, I agree. I'm sure we'll have a full trailer in the coming weeks. The teaser trailer is released tomorrow, based off of that link.

That poster is dull, but rich in that they copied HP.
