Jean Dujardin has confirmed on his official instagram account that a 3rd OSS 117 film with him will start production later this year. Sadly, the director of the previous 2 films will not be returning for this latest installment.

Can’t say I’m very excited since Michel Hazanavicius understood the core of that character he reinvigorated and basically recreated. Without him, I don’t think they have a chance at being successful with the piece, but I wish them all the luck, all the best that they need.

That Polar Trailer reminds me of Mute in a bad way. But Mads Mikkelsen is amazing.

@bondjames It looks really similar to Liam Neeson's upcoming action flick Cold Pursuit - not only because of the snowy setting, but both seems very pulpy and comic book-like revenge films. I can't wait to check both of these out, Neeson is always highly watchable, and I welcome Mikkelsen with open arms if he wants to join the action star status too.

Good point @DaltonCraig007. There are certainly those similarities. Mikkelsen is a highly charismatic actor and has a unique presence. I can't see him as an all and out action star at the moment, but then again I would have felt the same way about Neeson prior to Taken, so anything is possible.

World War Z 2 Working Title, Start Date and Locations Revealed?

Could we be seeing World War Z 2 sooner than we thought? That may sound a little silly to say, considering that many zombie lovers have been waiting for the sequel ever since the first movie was released in 2013, going on six years ago now. But last we heard, production was gearing up for June of this year. However, it appears as though that timeline has been bumped up by a few months, with filming now slated to begin in March.

According to a new production listing, World War Z 2 (which hasn't been confirmed as the official title) will kick off production in March and will film throughout the year in locations such as Thailand and Spain. It's expected to be a long shoot, with production not expected to wrap until 2020.

I'm still kind of blown away that a man of such prowess as Fincher is taking on a zombie horror sequel of all things. I'm real eager to see what he ends up bringing to the table.

I love David Fincher’s films, and I have high hopes he will deliver with World War Z 2. I wasn’t crazy about the first (found it fairly average), but I’ll be paying close attention to this sequel thanks to the pedigree of Fincher - one of the greatest directors.

This is surprising, as it had flop written all over it after how underwhelming the marketing campaign has been thus far. I haven't seen anything about it in my area. Not even a TV spot.

But maybe they have faith in it, after all.

    18 Smallfoot WB $4,914,125 10/10
    19 The Meg WB $4,200,000 8/9
20 Maze Runner: The Death Cure Fox $4,080,625 1/25
21 Bankier Van Het Verzet DFW $4,061,737 3/8
    22 Peter Rabbit Sony $3,978,270 3/29
    23 Ocean's 8 WB $3,819,573 6/21
    24 Tomb Raider WB $3,627,516 3/15
25 Ralph Breaks the Internet Disney $3,516,167 12/12
    26 Doris E1 $3,490,279 9/20
27 Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Fox $3,478,033 1/11
    28 Red Sparrow Fox $3,466,144 3/1
    29 The Nun WB $3,334,864 9/6
    30 The Equalizer 2 Sony $3,193,536 8/16
    31 Ready Player One WB $3,000,000 3/29

In 2016 the first Fantastic Beasts movie whas number 1 movie of the year with $11,875,561, whyle it whas close call with Bridget Jones's Baby ($11,553,946). Without Bohemian Rhapsody the movie have been again winner of the year with almoost same kind of money. Only Spectre (22,1 million), Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($15,659,687) & Minions ($14,967,100) in 2015 comes close to the 16 million. The number 4 of 2015 Jurassic World deliever a litle bit les then Fantasic Beast movies.

The Fifty Shades of Grey 3th movie Fifty Shades Freed stable as earlier two movies. The first did $6,907,429, Second movie did $6,332,203 and this one $6,487,334.

Smallfoot $4,914,125 (Sadley enough no 3D BD release :( ). Meg did $4,200,000, litle under performing in my opion. Maze Runner: The Death Cure $4,080,625. Ocean's 8 did amazing $3,819,573. Tombraider $3,627,516. Red Sparrow $3,466,144. The Equalizer 2 $3,193,536. Three Billboards did $3,478,033 and i consider that as litle suprise hit and same can be said about The Darkest Hour (With Gary Oldman) with $2,264,027 and The Post ($2,657,126).

Mi6 almoost double like Skyfall suprise with double count of views (2 million) in 2012 with 25 million (ticket price of 11,50 - 12,00 euro). Rogue Nation did $4,300,210 and that's les then Mi4 with $5,080,233. The numbers of Mi6 are very close to Bond movies like Tomorrow Never Dies and Quantum Of Solace. Of course it should not be vergotten that QOS 8,50 - 8,75 euro a ticket. Now you pay 12,50 euro for Mi6 or 15,00 for 3D or 4D ticket. Difrence of 2 tickets for a movie or 3 tickets. QOS (and some others of 8 million era) are now 15-16 million, so QOS is even big hit as Bohemian Rhapsody.

Biggest flops in The Netherlands, from movies you expect more:

With $3 million i think Ready Player One disapointed, the disapointed BD release not make it easier. But it can be worse, new Starwars movie (Solo: A Star Wars Story) did $2,904,945. Ant-Man 2 with $2,655,111. (first movie did $1,850,753.). I watched first Ant-Man movie this year (2018) and even after i watched it stil think it should have deliever same count of money as Iron Man. I blame failer that Disney own it now and mabey because of the crossover with Avengers. I stil give movie 8 - because it have that Iron Man humor and like to see Michael Douglas in it, but Mortal Kombat fight not belongs there. Tv series crossovers already can deliever problems.

But biggest flops are I, Tonya ($555,967) The Girl in the Spider's Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story (Les then 600.000), The House With A Clock In Its Walls ($601,252) Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado ($648,823) Pacific Rim 2 Uprising $1,124,212. Tadeo Jones 2 (Universal take over from Lionsgate) did $1,502,135 and also Universal deside not to make 3D release and no extra's.
