I liked the trailer for Days of Future Past but, as a big X-Men fan, I'm suspect ;)

The trailer didn't reveal much, but Days of Future Past look good in my opinion. Even if I'm not an original comic or cartoon fan, I look forward for the acting of Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Michael Fassbender!

I´m in. At first I thought this double cast thing is only so they have something for the trailer attracting everyone and their mother. But how the film seems to be dealing with Xavier´s faith intrigues me. Good trailer.

I'm sure things are better than they are made out to be. It'll be very different story I'm sure when production begins in February.

"Independence Day" Sequel Delayed A Year

By Garth Franklin Wednesday November 13th 2013 06:36AM
"Independence Day" Sequel Delayed A Year

20th Century Fox has pushed back its planned "Independence Day" sequel by a year. Originally slated for a July 3rd 2015 release, it will now open July 1st 2016.

One upside of the delay is that it allows the studio to milk the fact that it will be out on the 20th anniversary of the original film.

Roland Emmerich has been working on the sequel with co-writer Dean Devlin and "White House Down" writer-producer James Vanderbilt.

At last report, it sounds like Will Smith will not be returning.

    Source: Variety

After POTC 6 and Mi5 another ''big'' movie set for 2016.

Mabey goodnews for David Arnold if there whant him back for Bond and independence Day 2 he can do both now.

Really? Has hollywood really run out of stuff to cash in on and ruin?

Too freaking late! the movie was made over 70 years ago! why make a sequel to it now? Oh for money that's why.

@Murdock, next we'll get a sequel to 'The Seven Year Itch' called 'The Eight Year Itch,' starring Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn Monroe's character and Robert Pattinson as Tom Ewell's character.

Don't remind me. It's bad enough " A Christmas story" Got a crappy sequel a couple years ago.

My thoughts exactly. At this rate, they should be paying me! I already gave them ideas to remake horrendous films nobody likes/has ever heard of, like 'Gone With The Wind' and 'Citizen Kane.'

    The sequel to Citizen Kane:
    "Citizen Thompson"

The man tasked with investigating the last word of Charles Foster Kane had hit a break in the case and has discovered what "Rosebud" was. He keeps the secret to himself to honor Kane's memory, and on his deathbed years later he whispers the word "sled" to his daughter before passing on. Now it is up to a whole new generation of people to investigate the meaning behind Thompson's final word and how it connects to Kane's life.

    :))

Perhaps a number of early sequels and late kinda-sequels (Deep Blue Sea, Sharknado) left Hollywood confused where to pick up?

Oh, I´m sorry I was a little slow in the head, a quick look at the countless jawsters listed on imdb assured me of your irony ;-).

Technically Jaws has been remade and rebooted lots of times. I think the most recent one was Sharknado! :))

I can only assume they've never done a remake of 'Jaws' because it got so many bad sequels (apparently, I haven't seen them in such a long time). I wouldn't put it past someone to remake Spielberg's original.

Let´s not dwell in the shadows when we can enjoy the light:
Schwarzenegger and David Ayer seem not such a bad combination at all ;-)

I'm surprised to say but that actually looks quite good.

I'll see it. I'm a huge fan of Schwarzenegger, and while I haven't seen too much of his work since his return to acting, I've loved everything I saw. I'm sure most won't agree, but I really liked 'The Last Stand.' Could've had better casting, but it was really good.

EDIT: Here's a trailer for Lars von Trier's 'Nymphomaniac.' IT IS A RED-BAND TRAILER AND DEFINITELY NSFW:

Jaws 1 and 2 are the only good ones.. I should of been more specific Jaws 5 is what I am talking about... yes Jaws 5

there were tons of rumors but nothing has happened yet

I think Deep Blue Sea is pretty cool ;-).

Looks good, but I would prefer it if the trailer was more conservative and didn't give an entire summary of the damn film.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, sadly, that's how most trailers appear to be these days. I remember watching the trailer for the remake of 'The Last House On The Left,' literally showed me the entire film in roughly 150 seconds, including the ending.

It looks like MGM is looking to get involved with another remake: they have plans to remake 'Road House.' Again, why anyone thinks this is a good idea, I don't know.

EDIT: 'Uptown Saturday Night' is going to be remade. Hollywood is Remake City these days:

If 'Django Unchained' was QT teaching himself about westerns, I can't wait to see what he gives us for his next western.
