now he's saying he won't do the final trilogy because it took so long for him to do the 2nd trilogy.

well, it's his own fault it took him 16 years between Jedi and Menace!!

He decided to do his pet projects which turned out to be crap: The Radioland Murders and Howard the Duck!!

I also feels, considering we had to wait 16 years for the 2nd trilogy, he could had done better than that!

Well, if it takes place in Russia, then it will be worldwide. My worry for Die Hard 6 is that they will leave this planet and go to space.

I hope they try to echo the original by bringing back John Mctiernan, Bonnie Bedelia and Reginald VelJohnson. They should make for a grand end to the series.

Willis is filming two things right now, due out next year. After that, he's rumored for Expendables 2 and there's the Kane & Lynch film due out in 2013. Die Hard 5 has a director and script, I don't see why they couldn't start filming during the early former half of 2012 and have it out around November or December.

Die Hard 5 had a director, Noam Murro but he only a few days ago left the project and if filming were to begin around this time next year there's no way filming and post-production could be completed in six months.

Summer 2013 is the earliest though I wouldn't be surprised if it took even longer. After all last year Willis thought it'd be filming "next year", that of course now won't happen. Things need to get moving on this film and if I had my way it would be fast.

EDIT: And fast Fox are! As if by magic Willis could be back as McClane this fall with filming done in Russia. The directors on the shortlist are:

Joe Cornish (Attack the Block)
Justin Lin (Fast Five)
Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive)
John Moore (Max Payne)

So maybe 2012 could happen now?!

I hate the first person run to BUT it proves it's actually going to have A action sequence, this one is also going to be based on the comics more and taking a leaf from batman much darker.

@Samuel001, that's what I was going off of, haha. I would prefer Lin or Refn to do it: Fast Five was very enjoyable, and Drive looks like an excellent film.

You and I both. I think it could be good, and I've never been too big a Superman fan. A possible Bond at one point, Costner, Lane, Shannon, possibly Crowe. Could prove interesting.

Speaking of Michael Shannon, he has a movie coming out based off the mob hitman 'The Iceman', and he's in the title role of it. Saw a clip of it on Youtube a week or so ago, looks really good. Michael is an underrated actor.

I've heard good things about A Lonely Place To Die, and after being impressed with George in Triangle, I might keep an eye out for that. The trailer reminded me of the Spanish film, King Of The Hill, except that the trailer for A Lonely Place To Die makes the film look better.

And i'm sure I have 30 Days Of Night on DVD. :-?

I think that A Lonely Place To Die trailer shows too much! It looks like everyone of those 5 climbers except Melissa George's character either gets shot or falls off from a place of height!

I hope Star Trek comes out in 2013. Any more than four years for the first sequel would be awful. It would scream "not bothered" about getting another film ready, as if everyone just wanted to do something else...

@Samuel001, at least he's more focused on having a good script than he is rushing the sequel out for a quick buck. That's a good thing. 2013 should be pretty likely.
