    Love the Alien films although i thought the 4th was a stretch. The one question that leapt out at me is how can we have a grown up Newt? She died at the beginning of Alien 3?

    Yeah. She wouldn't have been my first choice for the classic Lara Croft (that would've been Olivia Wilde for a reason), but seeing as the character has seen a reconstruction and reboot, Vikander heavily resembles the Lara of the current times. So, I'm on board with it.

    Vikander has a sultry look that fits, decent choice. Certainly spoilt for actresses that could have played Lara.

    Those were great, I saw the ones you posted here. Love the new 70's trailer; with that kind of marketing, if it was popular enough, I could see them doing a sort of VHS release for the movie.

    @Thunderfinger, I saw an article on that yesterday, and apparently it has 500,000+ dislikes, which is astounding given the view count to dislike ratio.

    As far as I'm concerned, it deserves every single one of those dislikes. Not only are they remaking a film that shouldn't be remade, it's a poorly constructed trailer in its own right. Add onto that the footage looks terrible, and I can't say I'm surprised that it's the most disliked trailer in YouTube's history.

    I don't know when that film is released in the states, but atleast here (France), the Ghostbusters remake will get lost in a sea of big releases. It comes out here 1 week after 'Independence Day 2', and 1 week before 'Suicide Squad' and 'Jason Bourne'.

    With all the backlash and disgust the movie has gotten thus far, along with how poorly received the entire leaked synopsis was, I think we have another 'Fantastic Four' on our hands: it may fare better at the box office, but it's going to get destroyed by both critics and audiences.

    It amazes me how someone (or a group of people) who is/are paid a salary to do this sort of thing for a living could think that the trailer they put out there would be remotely positive for the film. That is the shocking thing. I hope they are all dismissed shortly.

    What you see in the trailer, are probably the best scenes in the film.

    The only new cinematic universe that involves ghost/monsters/whatever that interests me is the 'Mummy' reboot with Tom Cruise.
