To me too. I don't care for Ben Affleck, but the trailer was interesting.

I do like him as an actor, admire him as a film director. I loved how the trailer was scaled on different types of styles and variety. You'd never expect they would be like action thrillers when scenes that were given offered drama type of scenery and genre.

Looks like a totally unhinged performance from Ethan Hawke.

New Ocean's 11 movie with Sister of Clooney chacter ?

    J-Law, Bullock To Lead "Ocean's 11" Reboot?

    J-Law, Bullock To Lead "Ocean's 11" Reboot?
Jennifer Lawrence is rumored to be in talks to join Sandra Bullock in an all-new, all-female "Ocean's Eleven" reboot at Warner Bros. Pictures.

The project would reunite her with Gary Ross who helmed the first "The Hunger Games" feature and is slated to direct here from a script by Olivia Milch.

Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney are onboard to produce the film which is NOT a reboot but rather a continuation of the Clooney-led films. Bullock would play Danny Ocean's ex-con sister.

With help from her right-hand woman (presumably Lawrence), she'll form a team of thieves to steal a necklace from the Met Ball in order to frame a villainous gallery owner.

Filming is expected to begin this fall.

Ocean's Sisters ... mabey name to consider. Look like Spinoff like Bourne Legacy with possible option to make later on crossover with Clooney his gang. Let's hope then Julia Roberts wil be in movie too.

For all involved in the jurassic park discussion a few pages back.
Jurassic outpost has nothing to do with the 5th film. It is just a rebrand of a fan page on Twitter and instagram.
Of course lazy inept journos have reported that it's the official poster and name and run with it just becuase they're too bone idle or thick to do the tiniest bit of reading. Idiots

Fantastic four 2 mabey stil happen and les dark?? (and Gambit delayd because there stil working on the script)

    http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/43041/kinberg-talks-fantastic-four-2-gambit
"We didn't make a good movie, and the world voted, and I think they probably voted correctly. And you can't make a good movie every time out - not everybody does. We actually have a pretty good batting average, all things considered. But I think we made many mistakes when we made that movie - mistakes that we learned from and we wouldn't repeat.

Kinberg says that if the studio tackles the sequel, and he certainly wants to with the same cast, they will aim for the much brighter tone:

We want to make another Fantastic Four movie. We love that cast - I mean if I were to say to you now Michael B Jordan and Miles Teller, and Kate [Mara] and Jamie [Bell] are great actors - we love that cast. I love the comic, I mean I love it almost as much as X-Men.

We'll try to be truer to the essence of the tone of Fantastic Four, which is completely - well, not completely, but largely - distinct from the X-Men, which is brighter, funner, more optimistic tone. I think we tried to make a darker Fantastic Four movie, which seemed like a radical idea but we were kind of messing with the DNA of the actual comic instead of trusting the DNA of the comic."

He also spoke to Flickering Myth this week about the progress of the "X-Men" spin-off "Gambit" which was slated for an October release but has been pushed back as the film has yet to go into production. Talking about the delays, Kinberg puts it down to getting the script right:

"We've got to get the script right. We just didn't get the script to the place where we all thought the movie deserved. So we're still working on the script. We're very close, actually, to being done with the script. And the hope is that Channing [Tatum] has a couple of movies he has to shoot, but that we would shoot at the end of this year, or the beginning of next year."

Should things go to plan, "Gambit" would then get a release either late 2017 or early 2018.

I only have seen 2005 and 2007 movies and i think second was better because the introduction was over. But stil the movies be to much of Spider-Man copy like a bit Green Lantern was too. Not realy feel the need of third movie from as follow ups of those, earlier another Green Lantern. But sequel on this 2014 edition mabey be a good idea think. But Fox (Take over from Warner) and Kingberg better can consider to write Green Lantern sequel (if needed with help of writer of Spectre / Edge Of Tomorrow) with Martin Campbell (return) or Doug Liman as directer.

I think it's funny how they were optimistic about a sequel a couple of days ago, and then it's announced that Michael B. Jordan will be starring in 'Black Panther.'

That was a very cool trailer. First almost made me fall asleep, then completely took me by surprise.

With how laughably poor this past 'Fantastic Four' reboot was, on top of him jumping to a separate (and inevitably much more popular) comic book movie, I really don't see him tackling another F4 sequel at this point in his career. Thus, if they do another - which I don't see happening for a while - they'd have to recast. Most of the actors in that are big enough now that they wouldn't dare return to do a sequel.

Not unlike Chris Evans. Although I don't think those Fantastic Four films are disliked as much.

What's even funnier is that both announcements were made within the same hour lol.

@doubleoego, they were? That's even more rich. He probably wanted the word out ASAP to avoid any rumors of having his name attached to a sequel.

Yeah pretty much. The movie epitomises debacle and as it is, the film having plans to push forward for a sequel need the cast more than the cast needing the film. It's definitely for the best if the cast stay clear from this franchise turned toxic by fox.

Michael Bay returns to the director’s chair for the film, which is set to be written by "Iron Man" scribes Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan ("Black Hawk Down"). Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto will produce the sequel.

Is there a thread about current movies in cinemas?

I'd like to hear if anyone else saw "Our kind of traitor" since I am planning on seeing it soon and it looks pretty good.

The Last Movie You Watched thread? It's about both old and current movies, regardless where and how one saw them. "Current" would be tricky, because some movies may be in theatres in some places months after they've already left theatres in other places, plus there's no point in having two separate threads on that anyway.

No, what he meant is... are there any recommended films that are playing in cinemas at the moment/now?

I don't think we have a thread like that.

Why would we need a separate one? The thread I suggested has recommendations on current movies, too. That's where people comment on what they've seen (current or not). Plus "current" is different in different countries/areas anyway with many movies.

Of course, and I don't think we need a thread for movies that are "Playing Now". The best place to go and hunt for good movies is the one you suggested.

There's a 'Last Film You Saw In Cinemas' thread, but nobody uses it anymore, for some reason. I did for a while until people posted what they saw in the 'Last Movie You Watched' thread, so I figured having everything centralized there was good enough.
