Yes, she's my nailed on 10 pointer!
S. Caterina Murino (Solange, CR)
B. Eva Green (Vesper Lynd, CR)
4. Olga Kurylenko (Camille, QOS)
5. Sophie Marceau (Elektra TWINE)?
6. Famke Jannsen (Xenia Onatopp, GE)
7. Denise Richards (Christmas Jones, TWINE)
8. Gemma Arterton (Strawberry Fields, QOS)
It has to be an oversight, no question.
2. Famke Janssen (Xenia Onatopp, GE)- Smokes cigars, her first name means "little girl", and she can call me Daddy whenever she wants! Best villainess since Fiona Volpe.
3. Eva Green (Vesper Lynd, CR)- Excellent actress, smoking hot, and part Swedish. Works for me.
4. Caterina Murino (Solange, CR)- Sardinia's greatest export, drop dead gorgeous, wish she had a bigger role.
5. Izabella Scorupco (Natalya Simonova, GE)- Despite a bad hairdo, Izzy is beautiful and I love her character's feisty nature.
6. Michelle Yeoh (Wai Lin, TND)- Sorry Halle, but this girl legit kicks arse.
7. Rosamund Pike (Miranda Frost, DAD)- the only bright spot in this nightmare of a Bond film.
8. Ivana Milicevic (Varenka, CR)- who says communists don't know how to have fun?
Just in case votes for Sophie don't get considered, which I'm sure George will fix-
9. Cecile Thomsen (Professor Inga Bergstrom, TND)- I always was a cunning linguist too (ducking)

I think an actor's character is only being used once throughout the tournament. I can certainly understand the case for Sophie being in the 90s/00s Bond Girl category, but given the overall weakness of those decades villians, Sophie is actually a better fit in the Villians category.

I do like the Prof, I must admit
Yup, that's the reason why La Marceau isn't here, chaps. Would hardly be fair on the other competitors in either event if she were in both. And given she surely must be considered her film's major villain, I felt it right that she appeared in that contest rather than this one...

Tell you what, that Martin Campbell sure knows how to pick - and direct - his Bond Girls, doesn't he? For, yes, it's a CR/ GE cocktail of crumpet that's come out on top in this week's event, peeps. First up, we have The Greenster shaking and stirring the voting majority as her Vesper interpretation (surely deservedly) snags her a gold. Second, La Scorupco takes the silver, thanks to her sizzling turn as the girl from the Siberian wastes, Natalya The Simonova. And, third, yup, it's fantastic Famke's turn - her back-snapping baddie Xenia claiming the bronze (and finishing remarkably just one, single point behind her GE co-star). Mind out, though, that medal win may send Ms Onatopp into orgasm. ;)
Elsewhere, The Pikelet proves just how classy and exquisite she truly is by managing to ensure a character from DAD finishes fifth (no easy feat that and no mistake), while her fellow countrywoman Gemma Arterton (aka Strawberry Fields) takes seventh and a pair of Craig-era babes, Caterina Murino as Solange and Olga Kurylenko as Camille, claim fourth and sixth respectively. And taking the wooden spoon is Michelle 'She's-so-hard-she-could-even-kill-you-with-a-wooden-spoon' Yeoh. Except, of course, the event's real last-place-taker was Halle Berry as Jinx - what an apt name to give such a character, eh...? L-)

Is it me, or each week is this Medal Table becoming more and more about the battle for third place? Yup, at first, in the ongoing Franco-Italian scrap it appeared this time the Frogs had come out on top what with The Greenster getting them a full 10 points (ensuring her nation becomes merely the second so far to win more than one gold medal), only for Caterina Murino's five-point haul for the pasta-swillers to make sure the latter's lead over the French has been reduced from 11 points to just six. Will France actually be able to catch Italy again? More pertinently perhaps, can anyone else catch either of 'em now?
Elsewhere, both England and the States remain above the two Central European powerhouses, of course, but in maybe something of a slip by the US, it was only the Anglo Saxons who picked up points this time out (a useful six), while the Yanks managed to add none to their present tally. Happily, though, this week has seen four further nations make their debuts on the leaderboard - yup, welcome then Poland, Netherlands, Ukraine and (yes, really) Malaysia to the fray. Ah, the world of Bond, it truly is a gloriously global one, isn't it? (Scrap that, that's just a daft, self-answering rhetorical question :p).
Event 16 coming up soon, chaps...!
