Thanks for the update Red_Snow. Starz usually has their run of Bond movies in July and August.

Watching OHMSS on STARZ Action Encore at the moment.

One of the things that’s always bugged me about how STARZ programs the Bond movies is that they nearly always show them out of order. In most cases, its’ ok, but I think that TB-YOLT-OHMSS-DAF should always be shown in sequence. Watching OHMSS after TMWTGG is a bit unnerving!

Forgot to mention : among the celebrities who will look for their ancestors in season 16 of Who Do You Think You Are will be Ms. Moneypenny, that is Naomie Harris. She'll join a star-studded line-up with Kate Winslet, Sharon Osbourne and Daniel Radcliffe. No dates yet, but I'll keep you posted.

Oh, and the episode of Who Do You Think You Are featuring Naomie Harris will air, according to Radio Times, on Monday, july 29th at 21.00 GMT on BBC 1 (Great Britain). Here's the summary :
Actress Naomie Harris's dramatic discoveries in this edition of the show in which celebrities research their family trees inspires her to anger, sadness and tears of joy. On a journey from Trinidad to Grenada to Jamaica, she learns of her great-great-great-great- grandfather's involvement in the exploitation of so-called liberated Africans shortly after the abolition of slavery, is delighted to discover the identify of her African five-times-great grandmother, and uncovers a family story of tragic poverty in Jamaica's capital of Kingston.

For those of you in the US (or Canada), as part of its’ “100 Years of United Artists” celebration in September 2019, Turner Classic Movies will be showing most of the Bond movies made between 1962 and 2002.

Their schedule is as follows (all times listed are EST):
    Sept 5 (Thur) DN (@8:00pm), FRWL (@10:00pm), GF (@12:15am), TB (@2:15am), YOLT (@4:45am)

    Sept 12 (Thur) OHMSS (@8:00pm), DAF (@10:30pm), LALD (@12:45am), TMWTGG (@3:00am)

    Sept 19 (Thur) TSWLM (@8:00pm), MR (@10:15pm), FYEO (@12:30am), OP (@3:00am), AVTAK (@5:15am)

    Sept 26 (Thur) TLD (@8:00pm), LTK (@10:30pm), GE (@1:00am), TND (@3:30am), TWINE (@5:30am)

I don’t see DAD listed as yet.

While I doubt that the Bond movies will become part of TCM’s regular rotation (i.e., “Casablanca”, “The Thin Man”, “North by Northwest”, ” Singin’ In the Rain", etc..), it will be interesting to see them in this context. One issue to be on the look-out for is whether they will be edited for content. For example, when OHMSS was shown at the Museum of Modern Art (NYC) as part of a Bond retrospective in 2012, the Gumbold Safe scene was removed (..Playboy Magazine?).
