    I would suggest, if there are one hundred Bond girls, that there are five revealed each day. I would also prefer just a singular overall character ranking as opposed to two, unless we're also going to rank the villains based on looks and attire also. :)

    Would it be more feasible if we were to rank only the main Bond girls in one ranking alone, combining all these aspects together?

    Definitely less complicated of course, and I could keep my rating system from the film ranking game.

    The simpler, the better. And I do know that I will have better things to do than make 2 lists of 50 girls. Ranking 25 is hard enough and it should be clear what the criteria are.

    I like the idea of ranking only the main Bond girls now. We could always do the other ones later...or maybe all the sacrificial lambs (male and female), etc.

    That's kinda harder than just ranking the films. I feel there's a lot of great ones, a fair few who are really not great, and not many just average ones. Hard to parse within the tiers...

    I definitely find that there's five or six that I really love, five or six that I really don't, and everyone else in between is sort of interchangeable and very hard to place.

    Edit: I should add that this is a good thing as it will make me think on aspects I may not have given their due before!

    Yeah, varying criteria might mean some wildly different lists on this one. I leaned heavily into strength of character and effect on the plot. Then performance of the actress. But then something like Solitare's costumes ended up making an impression too.

    I realised that I never ranked the Bondgirls before. Very difficult to do.

    Just before the release of Skyfall, I did a “Top 10 Bond Girl” ranking or a couple of my friends and co-workers. In reexamining that list today, 8 of my rankings still apply, so I’m going to go with that.

    As for the bottom seven (20-26) …again not much of a debate for me. It is the middle 11-19, that’s tough. How do you separate the role (“as scripted”) from the actress? Or from the actress’s appearance from their performance? I might as well use a random number generator to do those picks!

    The ranking of the top three was not hard for me. After them, the drop-off is steep.
