Amazing film by the way. Liam Neeson, in the cold, with makeshift weaponry, v.s. wolves. HELL YES.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I've really been meaning to watch it, but I heard about the ending - heavily unfortunate - and it's kind of deterred me thus far. I'll be sure to watch it soon.

Really? That is blasphemous. Idiots out there who get a kick of ruining good films.

Indeed. It's a complete sin to me, yet my friend went on and on about the film. I gave him the usual "No, I haven't seen it, and I know nothing about it, so don't tell me anything." line, which went from an "Ok." to "This happens." to "This is how it ends." That line usually works, and the one time I've been bitter the most over a spoiled ending was for 'The Matrix Revolutions.' I'll never forget the rage I emitted that day.

I just can't imagine the release of SF - I love this site, and it will be a shame to avoid it for two whole weeks, but I'm not spending these past four years waiting for a new James Bond film, just to have it spoiled for me two weeks prior to the United States release. The way some users here flash out spoilers with ease - and then add spoiler tags for things that aren't even remotely close to a spoiler - I wouldn't be shocked to have the ending in a thread title.

To make you feel even more on edge @Creasy47, the ending is already out there. Do tread carefully over these last few months.

Just brilliant. I don't know how or why anyone would want to even know.

Exactly - just be careful, for your own sake, you don't want to be "shotgun spoiled", whereby any random forum, lists the ending as a thread title. That's the worst.

Back on topic, I'll fill in my choices soon...

The SF ending??? Great. Now I have something else to look out for. I've already had a big part of SF spoiled for me, so I really don't want to know the ending.

My thoughts exactly: why on earth would anyone want to know the ending to SF already? As much as I enjoy a new trailer or a tiny tidbit of information, anything that is a proper spoiler - obviously the ending is one - is completely off limits until I see the film. I just pray that I haven't waited this long to be disappointed because someone decides to let loose that type of information. I'll be steering clear from all other forums from here on out, and can only hope everyone else has the right mind to not share such information without a big heads up and spoiler tags.

Just do what I do. Stay away from every thread filed under "Skyfall" or "Skyfall spoilers".

What a great idea for a forum title. Brought home to me that a) They don't make films like they used to and b) how crap in general films have been since the mid 90's. A lot of years prior I had to think about and choose between films, but the later ones were there out of necessity to have something as opposed to actually being 'great'.
These are mine, some may seem like strange choices but I've actually chosen them based on the circumstances when I saw them (Octopussy I was way into Bond then and 23 visits).

    1967: The Dirty Dozen
    1968: Where Eagles Dare
1969: On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    1970: Kelly's Heroes
    1971: Dirty Harry
    1972: Godfather
    1973: The Sting
    1974: Godfather 2
    1975: Jaws
    1976: Pink Panther Strikes Again
    1977: Star Wars
    1978: Superman the Movie
    1979: Rocky 2
    1980: The Empire Strikes Back
1981: Raiders of the Lost Ark
    1982: Rambo: First Blood
    1983: Octopussy
    1984: Temple of Doom
    1985: Back to the Future
    1986: Aliens
    1987: Lethal Weapon
    1988: Die Hard
    1989: Licence To Kill
    1990: Total Recall
    1991: Terminator 2
    1992: Batman Returns
    1993: Schindler's List
    1994: True Lies
    1995: Heat
    1996: The Rock
1997: As Good as It Gets
    1998: Saving Private Ryan
    1999: The Matrix
    2000: Gladiator
    2001: Ocean's 11
    2002: The Bourne Identity
    2003: Mystic River
    2004: The Polar Express
    2005: Batman Begins
    2006: Casino Royale
    2007: The Bourne Ultimatium
    2008: The Dark Knight
    2009: Inglorious Basterds
    2010: Toy Story 3
    2011: Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol
2012: The Avengers although I expect this to be overtaken by The Dark Knight Rises :-)
