Does he wear a suit or a tuxedo in the gb?

How about a Roger Moore banana suit?

Maybe they figured since they tampered so much with all the others there was no point making a traditional one for this XP oh well, I’m used to it by now. By no means a dealbreaker. I would like a return though to that normalcy again after this. Nothing could be as bad as CGI in DAD again hopefully!

Hoping for the OP clown suit.

The gunbarrel pans out to snow, so it has that cold steel looking tint, Daniel did a better job with this barrel than in SF and SP in my opinion

It already sounds like the best Craig one so far. Thanks.

I read online confirmation that yes Safin
is not No and Blofeld doesn’t escape prison.

Glad to hear Safin isn’t Dr. No. So if Blofeld never gets out, does he die still?

  • There is a Dr. No reference in the main title sequence, it starts off with the colourful dots as Dr. No did

Hahahahaha of all the things EON does I love that it’s the gun barrel that they always use to troll fans.

I don’t care for tradition anyway, because that almost killed Bond’s integrity (hi DIE ANOTHER DAY).

I’m curious about something horribly insignificant:
Who gets to say the f-word and in what context?

I too am very curious about this. Hope it is Bond to Blofeld, would be funny.
    "Oh fuck off, Franz"

Actually don’t remember the f-bomb, maybe if someone else who watched it can chime in

    The gunbarrel
is sadly not just a straightforward one (the way the Universal logo segues to the dots was weird too) but it is a decent enough gunbarrel and the things they changed were done as an effective transition into the film, unlike that of SPECTRE which was just pretentious.

Mallory says "for fuck's sake" when he learns Q and Moneypenny went to Bond behind his back.

Thanks for that. Had hoped it’d be a more exciting use of it than that but oh well, not a big deal at all.

    Okay...I've seen it.

I enjoyed it incredibly. It's not perfect and does not touch either CR or SF in the ranking of the Craig era. Nonetheless, this is a very entertaining film. Even at close to three hours, you will not be bored.

The opening sequence is one of the best in the franchises history and there are is some seriously terrific work in Jamaica. The Cuba stuff mostly works and the London segment has some rather soggy and wonky storytelling. Norway is fairly weak. The finale isn't quite as action packed as one would hope, but it's still very good. The ending is rather marvellous.

It feels like a very classical Bond film. Even Craig somewhat unsuccessfully tries to channel his inner Roger. But he's best in the colder and more emotional scenes. The things that really worked for me were the more subversive elements. The less conventional ideas in the script really stood out.

For me, the weakest elements were some of the ridiculous Marvel gadgetry and the silly science-fiction plot. It just didn't really work for me. It bogged the film down, so much of the middle section of the film is focussed on this and it hampers the film. Also, the attempts at humour are bad........

Though, as I've said, I enjoyed it immensely and the film got a big round of applause so I wonder what the reaction will be. The final sequence and moment is a all-timer and the music is perfect

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

(This movie is also FULL of Easter Eggs. If you're a Bond superfan, you're in for a field day!)
