I just saw a Facebook ad for this and literally thought I was going insane.
This is criminal! Too soon!
HD pirated copies will be available two days before its Australian release. It doesn’t make any sense. Just wait another 14 days to put it on demand.

Guess I'm just the perfect target audience for a Bond ad when I randomly logged on then lol
I'm at four currently, but I intend to see it one or two times more. Are you done for now, or are you aiming at ten? ;)
I'll break down to watch at home for $25 or $29 before I can buy it... I saw NTTD 2x in IMAX and 2x in standard... IMAX makes all difference in world. And since I can't see it in IMAX anymore, I'm cool with it seeing it at home asap. The standard screens, one in particular was so dim lit and not as focused in shots, sucks to see it that way after IMAX... theaters are digging their own grave.
How will this work?
I will say that my experience with the AVX screen at Yorkdale for viewing #8 was easily the worst of the lot as far as both sound and picture are concerned. It wasn't so much as to undermine the entire film or anything, but it was a noticeable drop-off.
They make you rent it (for free), but I guess for tracking purposes... then it's a 5 min clip at Safin's base with Bond making his way up the stairs shooting everyone
One of the best parts of the movie, and a scene from the finale? Bold of them. I might have to check this out.
To be fair, F9 was also released in this manner. I don’t think this is unprecedented. EON just didn’t go the Nolan hardliner route of cinema only for six months.
It "feels right" and just the way a Bond movie normally does at home :-)
That's crazy - especially when I think back 20 years ago to watching Disney and Pixar films at the cinema and then having to wait at least 6 months for them to come out on VHS and how long that felt to me! 😄
