Okay I'm going to go with a real toughie. Hopefully it's not too hard. :-ss

Who is the actor who has appeared in five different James Bond films as different characters?

A clue to assist is that these characters are very minor.
The name of the actor, and the five films he appears in please.

I have a feeling I know who it is. I have researched and found four appearances in four seperate films as different characters.
Sooo, no point announcing it until I find the fifth appearance. Double damnation.
  • Man I'm struggling with this..... got the feeling I'll be kicking myself too.... at first I thought Shane Rimmer, then Walter Gottell, and in desperation started counting the Michael G Wilson cameos.... Damn you Benny, you fiend!!!

Wow, this answer has either gone completely gone over my head or it really is that difficult.

I'm going have a think about this - after I take a Uni exam in a couple of hours...

You've got an exam in 2 hours, and still you lurk around here. That's dedication

I'm going to go Bob Simmons
    Dr-Gf as James Bond
    GF double as Kisch
    TB as Jacques Bouvar
    TSWLM as KGB agent
FYEO as Henchman who blew up in Lotus explosion

Ha, yeah! Still, I think it went really well, so bring on the next one!

And @jaguar007 may just have it, though I didn't have a clue and couldn't come up with an answer - even during the exam. For this question that is. :-))

I'm afraid no-one has it so far.
This actors work within the Bond series really is small, yet his biggest role probably came with one of the biggest Bonds of the seventies. ;-)

    How about George Leech
Goldfinger - Man in Bulletproof Vest at Q Branch
    Thunderball - Disco Volante Crewman
OHMSS - SPECTRE agent (Bond strangled)
    TSWLM - Cortina Gunman
    FYEO - Henchman Shark Victim

That was who I had in mind when I posted earlier. I didn't have GF though.

I was thinking of Shane Rimmer, though he only appeared in three that I know of: You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.

As I said, this is a real toughie.
A few clues. This actors biggest role was in TSWLM and he was reportedly a good friend of the producer.

I'm sticking with Rimmer then. It must be him. I'll try to come up with the other two films...

I'm annoyed I can't figure out the "good friend of the producer" clue.

Maybe I should brush up on my The Spy Who Loved Me knowledge.

Bit of a wayward clue but it might help.

If it were a 70's disaster movie this actors double would surely be involved.

    Nadim Sawalha?
We're looking for a very minor part from an actor who has appeared in five Bond films.
I did say it was a toughie.

    A new clue.
In one of the films this actor appears in, not everything is as visible as he'd hoped.

Norman Burton from The Towering Inferno? God, I'm running around like a headless chicken!
  • Could it be the strange man who sees Bond do something unlikely and looks at his drink...appeared in TSWLM, MR and FYEO, was he in any others?

    Still no-one has it.
Maybe this one really is too tough. :-ss

I think you have stumped us all. Can you tell us if it is someone who is part of the stunt team?

I think it's probably too difficult.
Using a very very minor actor who appeared in five Bond films, but is not known is asking a little to much.
Therefore I will post the answer, and pose a new question.

    The actor is Lenny Rabin
    He appeared in :
    GF - Gangster
    OHMSS - Casino guest
TSWLM - Stromberg crew ("Sir. The monitors faded.")
FYEO - Ski spectator (appears in the lift of the ski jump)
OP - Bidder at Sothebys auction

    Okay a slightly friendlier question
What was the original title of the fourteenth Bond film, what was one of the suggested plots, and who was considered / rumoured for the villains role?

And if that's to hard I give up. ;-)

Benny, how did you know of this Lenny Rabin? I'm intrigued.

As for the new question, one part has me stumped so I'll let someone else answer. :)

I think the suggested plot was something about diverting Halley's Comet and David Bowie was asked to play Max Zorin but I really have no idea about the original title I'll just opt for 'From A view To A Kill' though I wager it may be something more original than that!

Diverting Halley's Comet! Of course. Ahhh! I'm convinced I'm losing my mind...

As for the other answers I agree with you @saunders.

    Yep, sounds plausible.
