Now that the actor's in the bag, we should get a title reveal tomorrow. How about:

    As The Sun Goes Down

    The Daily Mail Never Dies

These titles will start popping up on these media sites within the next twenty four hours…

    "2024's news today."

    or

"How'd they get the paper out so fast?"

"Somebody at thesun.co.uk knew before EON Productions did."

If ATJ was in the running, these newspaper stories won't have done him any favours!

While there are far worse options, I really hope it’s not ATJ. I find him competent but underwhelming.

Really not sold on Aaron Taylor-Johnson as a leading man. He's a fantastic supporting player, but really unmemorable to me as a lead actor.

They're a bit left of field, but I really wouldn't mind seeing Cosmo Jarvis and Connor Swindells at least audition for the role.

    That's extremely left of field.

So is ATJ cast or no….

I don’t think he will be cast but this is intriguing not going to lie

Everyone wants news, that's the only truth we can take out of this.

Honestly, we need news. Something like a rumoured screenwriter or director for Bond 26 would suffice.

Yeah, always. But there's always a marquee writer that comes along.

Personally no one will top Tom Hardy in the role of the front runner for the next James Bond he brought back the same level of sophistication that Adrian Paul had for the role ;)

That being said it was a good video

I watched Calvin's video earlier, I really hope ATJ does not get the part.

I just want someone to point to me which of the previous 6 actors Johnson would be most like cause I am getting a wooden lazenby vibe from him
  • I think Olivia Colman would be a good choice for M if the role gets recast. I think she'd give it her own spin just like Dench did.
They should give it to Statham imo. Perfect role for him.

I feel ATJ is a bit part actor, he is not a lead IMO, I don't think he has much charisma or screen presence and I have seen him in quite a few films.

Admittedly I have not seen Bullet Train yet.

Lazenby's arrogance really helped his Bond, I find ATJ a bit bland in comparison.

I think that's a good point. I don't think he was hugely good at being Bond, but he did nail the total self-confidence. It did come across as arrogance as you say, whereas the other Bonds had more in the way of swagger, but it still worked.

I was wondering if World of Reel was a respectable source. If the other big news outlets pick up on this, then there’s some truth to ATJ. EON may be closer to production then we realize. I think Amazon will be pushing them more for more movies faster.

His reasoning is "Broccoli hasn't denied it." It took more than a year for Broccoli to deny Hardy.

Basically the writer of World of Reel said: because Broccoli hasn't denied the rumours, this is a done deal.

    Wow- that's excellent news coverage.

This is what accounts for news?

He is not the best Bond though certainly one of the most convincing. His physicality helped, you believed that George's Bond was tough.
