    I think FRWL, TSWLM, TLD, GE and CR best encapsulate each era. The peak of Bond espionage & intrigue, and the actors at their best performance.

    It’s my bottom two at the moment I think, DAD just edges out on nostalgia points, it was the first one I saw on the big screen.

    I think the 80’s are really strong, the only EON entry that is a bit lacking is AVTAK, but even that one has a few great moments.

    Sad to see you still hve QOS so low? Has it ever improved for you? Its the one Bond movie, for me, that gets better with every viewing!

    I still love QOS, and especially Olga. It's just one that ends up on the lower end for me. I imagine it will eventually surpass SF in my rankings (that one took a drop, actually).

    Did this elsewhere about a month ago. Main criteria was mainly going one film at a time against the others and deciding which one in all honestly I was most likely to watch if given the choice. So for example - Dr.No v From Russia With Love was From Russia With Love. This meant my list was now 1. From Russia With Love, 2. Dr. No. Then weighed Goldfinger against Dr.No, Goldfinger won. So then weighed Goldfinger up against From Russia With Love. Goldfinger won again. So my list was now 1. Goldfinger, 2. From Russia With Love, 3. Dr. No. Then rinse and repeat the process through the rest of the series to get the following:

    1. Casino Royale
    2. Skyfall
    3. Live And Let Die
    4. The Spy Who Loved Me
    5. Tomorrow Never Dies
    6. GoldenEye
    7. Moonraker
    8. No Time To Die

    My Year End Rankings: The Films!

    Similar to what I've did with the Bond Girls, I'm also wrapping my film rankings up for 2022!
    Rankings do comes once a year for me (pun intended) 😊.
    This time, I'm including the unofficial ones, but separated rankings of course.

    After this, I'll be doing the villains, then the theme songs, the actors themselves, and also the books as a part of my Year End Rankings 2022!

    Note: By creating my list (for the EON/official ones), I've divided them into 5 parts (my Top 5, 10, 15, 20, 25) to filter (or sift) the Bond films that I really liked, and those ones (that I've enjoyed the least or my least favorites), then when it's all complete, that's where I'm mixed them all altogether.

    The thing with this sort of articles, is that it’s not even a ranking done by a person’s personal taste, they’ve just ranked them according to other people’s opinions and, while they were at it, accentuated box office performances as if that actually means anything.

    Another re-ranking as I'm in the midst of a "Bond break". Some of my lesser ranked classic Bonds making their way upwards while the later films are taking a plunge. This is due to a rewatchability factor. I've popped in a handful of films recently and couldn't get past the first half hour. :(

    I'd love to know what Bond films you couldn't get past half hour, @ToTheRight!? The only Bond movies I have ever switched off are Brossas, ( and I came close with SF!)
