It wasn't as easy to pick five for this film.
And I'm one of the few who likes it!
I don't have the feeling that only few people like it, at least among Bond fans. I think it's a terrific film, in my top five along with FRWL, GF, CR and SF (in chronological order).

A lot of my favourites are gone already, but it's still hard to pick five despite that. The film is visually consistently strong.

It's probably the film I rewatched the most since it came out (as per views per year) - unlike its two predecessors QOS and SP. However devastating the ending, it's just a perfect piece of cinema production, and a worthy end to Craig's era. And it leaves me more elated than most other Bond films, in spite of that ending.

EDIT: I misstated the first time. SF is, for me, just as brilliant as CR and, yes, NTTD.

So many good options, but for better or worse I think that this is the shot that defines this film's legacy.

That moment defined the PTS for me, Bond makes up his mind about what to do with Madeleine and changes into attack mode. Brilliant!

#9, I despise the moment but the "hero" shot itself is glorious.

This one was tough, there's loads of great choices and it's hard to not vote for one just because Paloma is in it

But, yes, I will go with # 34, very cool moment and adore Paloma!

It feels impossible for me to choose between 6, 9, 11, and 25.

In the end I'm going to vote #11 — 9 comes in at a very close second, but 11 is without question a shot and I suspect a lot of 9 is digitally created or manipulated plate work. (That doesn't take away from its beauty, though).

Their contrast is stark. 11 is everything I think and feel when I think of James Bond, Ian Fleming, and the essence of the character. It feels like it could be a still from 1962. The whole of the franchise seems to live in that shot, for me. And yet 9...is maybe the most poignantly emotional shot they've ever done. It's incredible.

I'd better stop typing before I talk myself out of my vote.

It strikes me that so much that was teased in the SP trailer actually plays out in NTTD: the OHMSS theme, the cracked window, etc.

    That was surprising.
