A.I stories so fair really kinda suck
Exactly! =D>
The Bond fan standard has dropped low when we're rooting for A.I. to take over.
James Cameron needs too take a LONG look in a mirror and self reflection before he goes around calling other things rotten to the core.
Which AI program are you using?
Only with 'cuckoo', I presume. ;-)
I wonder if an A.I. generated threat would be something worth in exploring in a future Bond film.
That's a great idea. It is a genuine threat.
To make something like that work, you have to make the concept genuinely scary. And to do that you sometimes have to come up with something that's 'five minutes into the future', especially with Bond films. As much as I have issues with NTTD, they seemed to understand this concept with the nanobots.
Perhaps either a fake A.I. generated image of Bond in a compromising situation or something similar to TND but rather than fake headlines fake images of some sort of threat.
Doesn't have to be anything too sci-fi, just something simple that kicks off an utter sh*t storm.

I mean, the idea of a villain implanting people with chips in their brain in a sort of OHMSS type situation is pretty scary. Could mix it with an adaptation of the brainwashing concept seen in Fleming's TMWTGG (or a sort of Manchurian candidate/Ipcress File concept).
Never seen it, but the synopsis looks interesting.
One of the reasons I like FRWL. The lektor was a ruse to film Bond in a compromising situation and embarrass the British. It wasn't world crisis stuff, but personal. Deep fake technology could be employed in a similar scheme. For example, Bond accused of assassinating an important political figure.
An mostly unseen Bond is seemingly killed by the British or US and we have a funeral for Bond at the beginning of the movie, like in YOLT.
So far the villains and the audience don’t know too much about our new Bond / the man on the assignment.
Would be a little nod to the death of Craig’s Bond, a bit like the , “this never happened to the other fella.” From OHMSS..
I like the AI idea though.
I'm pretty confident she won't be back. Welcome to MI6 Shaken_Not_Stirred! ;)
I wonder if EON are actually trying to get something in place before then, or they've just accepted that its safer to sit back and let whatever happens play itself out?
Hey, I like that - and MGW said that they always look at what the world's currently afraid of and project it slightly into the future. I think you could well be onto something there, Red_Snow. Good call, mate.
And two days left of March—“ sources” say ATJ was to be announced this month (after “wowing” EoN, he shot the famous gun barrel, which will also be unveiled at his March announcement).
Have the press been called?
( 😂 )

Already made massive progress with outlines and chapter summaries and all that planning. The best thing is its knowledge, it gives me proper scientific details for using in expositions.
The other players at the table, a mix of wealthy businessmen and socialites, watched with bated breath as Bond and the AI began their game. The first few hands went smoothly, with Bond winning small pots here and there. But as the game progressed, the AI began to pick up steam.
Bond felt a thrill of excitement as he looked down at his cards - he had a flush, a very strong hand. He placed a hefty bet, hoping to make a killing. But the AI didn't flinch. It analyzed the cards on the table with lightning speed, calculating the odds and weighing the risks. And then, without a hint of hesitation, it matched Bond's bet.
The tension in the room was palpable as the players watched the final card hit the table. Bond's heart sank as he saw what it was - a card that would give the AI a straight, a hand even stronger than Bond's flush. He tried to keep his face impassive as he watched the AI confidently place its final bet.
The other players gasped as Bond reluctantly laid down his cards, revealing his flush. But the AI was unfazed. It confidently revealed its own hand, the straight that had sealed Bond's fate. Bond felt a chill run down his spine as he looked at the machine. This wasn't just a poker game - it was a battle of man versus machine, and Bond was starting to feel like the underdog."
If you're using AI to streamline research, that's fair as doing research sucks a lot. But as this is a forum of opinions, I feel as though it's appropriate to share mine; if a single line of AI written material ends up in a finished product, that's a really shitty thing to do.
If you think for five seconds about where AI generated content comes from, written or visual art or otherwise, it's plaigarism at best.
There's really no lie here, but who said protagonists have to be fine upstanding citizens? Anyways, this seems to indicate that he'll never direct a Bond film which I think is good news.
When it comes to technical stuff in novels that the author has little knowledge of, all they'll be doing is paraphrasing what they've read elsewhere anyway. They may give a credit, but I would imagine that happens a lot less than when it does.
