According to Wikipedia, Zoé Oldenbourg was a russian-born french writer :

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zo%C3%A9_Oldenbourg

The original title of this novel is Argile et Cendres (literally Clay and Ashes) which could be a good chapter title in a Bond novel, BTW. And it was her first published novel.

Seems a pretty substantial writer, @Gerard, agree on the chapter title idea.

Additionally I'd like to see Bond films with non-English titles, as Casino Royale did in a mild way.
    Or the Carte Blanche novel.

Not saying these are exceptional. Someone's idea of fun, though.

Found this one by happenstance :

    You%27re_Only_Young_Twice.jpg

Apparently, it was also the title of a 1952 british movie :

As you know, the movie Never Say Never Again was translated in french as Jamais Plus Jamais. Well, an earlier french movie was called Jamais Plus Toujours.

Two episodes of the original Storage Wars have Bondian titles : "Live and Let Bid", and "From Russia with Chucks". Wonder if there are others among all the other versions.

Found out today that there is a graphic novel series in France called Espions de Famille, and a few volumes of that series bear names inspired by Bond titles :

There's a new series of historical crime novels, written by Frédéric Lenormand (prolific author of, among others, many continuation Judge Dee novels) called Au Service Secret de Marie-Antoinette (On Marie-Antoinette Secret Service), in which the queen of France sends her modist and her hairdresser (who can't, at the beginning, stand each other) on secret missions for the kingdom. Two novels have already been published :

    It started with that :

    411lansUN4L._SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_ML2_.jpg

which I already posted on the On His Majesty's Secret Service thread (because it's the first book of a bodice-busting novels trilogy).

Little did I kow that it would lead me into the world of bodice busting romance novels. Apparently, there's a lot of Dukes who loved the heroins of those books. And some other noble (and not so noble) ranks as well :

    61PQjCMMnxL.jpg

    There's even a Highlander :

    41S7aHpAXFL._SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_ML2_.jpg

    A dragon :

    51QbnwK4qyL._SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_ML2_.jpg

    And an A.I.

    51AF2eoazdL.jpg

Maybe there's more Bondian titles like that, but after these ones, I'm exhausted.

I recently stumbled across a Morricone score which (unusually for those I'm still missing) turned out affordable. It's from a 1966 movie called Svegliati e uccidi, which translates to WAKE UP AND KILL, which is also the title in UK, CDN and Oz. However, the U.S. title is WAKE UP AND DIE. Sounds possibly more Bondian.

While perusing books at the local FNAC store (in Brest), I opened the eleventh installment of the Lady Georgiana (Her Royal Spyness) series by Rhys Bowen, and discovered that the original title was :

On Her Majesty's Frightfully Secret Service

    bookcover.php?id=ils%3A.b25010694&size=large&format=Large+Print&isn=1432841491

    9781408718322.jpg?auto=compress

Funny thing, it's the only title in the whole series (already 16 books) that bears a ressemblance to a Bond novel.
