Eventually. But not till all the EON films have been covered first.
How bizarre: my dad used to own one of those Jaguars she's sat on- it was a special edition limited run of only 100 cars. It comes from 1988, so well after the film.
Aged pretty well then. The actress, not the car.
The Afgan bridge in the Living Daylights was a notable foreground miniature: John Richardson added a model to make the bridge look much taller.
Thanks for the clarification @mtm. My bad.
I've never thought that Maud Adams' nails are painted, I thought it's a bit bizarre, because one of Bond's characteristics was he never preferred women to have colored/painted nails.
He liked his women's nails to be uncolored or simple/ordinary.
So, if this is Fleming/Literary Bond, for sure, he would've rejected Octopussy, because her nails are painted 😅
Oh, no sorry; I wasn’t criticising at all, I don’t think it matters and I was very interested to see the photo, thank you.
Yes, I much prefer the straight side-parting in his earlier films. That's the definitive Moore Bond to me. Wonder why they changed it.
Yeh, that's a strange one. Director John Glen claimed also that the pilot and owner of the Acrostar, 'Corkey' Fornof, told them he could do the stunt for real, but considering it would have been too fast, and also he couldnt have any bystanders, which wouldn't have looked good on screen, they went with John Richardsons idea!
The dentist who bought his house about six years ago put garage doors on the carport. Smart move. There are just no Jaguars any more.
Yeah, doesn't look very glamorous does it. Though Sir Rog, did get the chance to sneak in another cigar.
Thanks for the post, much appreciated.
Love this pic, and Bond's handrail slide with ammo check. Don't think I've seen it before.
