Yes, it really is. I happened to be walking past the graveyard which is in a church grounds within the town centre yesterday and I saw it again. I thought sounded suitably grim. On the other side it has a kind of grotesque face and other writing partially obscured by green algae and weathering.
They could always use The Infernal Machine, one of Fleming's early suggested titles for Moonraker.
