I noticed they removed the fake reviews at the start, I am looking forward to this if only to see what Francis has to say, I have an idea of what this film is about.

@Fire_and_Ice_Returns, not only fake quotes but A.I.-generated. Can't imagine that'll help those box office chances at all, but I doubt many audiences even noticed.

In other news, it sounds like Edward Berger is being courted for Ocean's Fourteen, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt set to return:

    Screamboat|Official Teaser

Another horror slasher with Mickey Mouse as the villain. Are we seriously running out of ideas?

James Cameron has set up his first non-Avatar film in almost 30 years, which will begin filming whenever production on the Avatar sequels allows.

Thunderbolts* - Official Teaser Trailer (2025) Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour

Bucky is the only interesting character, this trailer feels tired and familiar its been done before and done much better.

Canary Black - Official Trailer | Prime Video

R.I.P. Ray good to see him in one last film.

The film title made me initially think this was DC.

Not seeing any other links past the People exclusive, but here's the first trailer for Clint Eastwood's Juror No. 2:

    Three interesting looking movies.

I would be cautious about the Stallone film; it had a very low budget, most of which was spent on Sly; he only worked on it for a couple of days. Also, most of it was filmed on the bridge seen in the trailer. Like many stars do, this smells like a quick, relatively easy paycheck for Stallone.

I have to say, even knowing this the trailer is not horrible; so who knows?

Sometimes a one location (for the most part) can work very well in a film, I like the premise

I've worked with Grindstone before. They certainly know how to make a film for five million and make it look like a glossy 10-15 million dollar picture. They do well getting the aging stars, shooting them in two to five days, pay them an actor's salary and usually a producer's fee as well (plus a per diem, lol!).

The films themselves aren't usually very good, but they have a market, and it's for middle aged men, who come home, grab a drink and watch their old favorite stars from yester-year.

However, no matter what one thinks about the quality, these films rarely bore, and usually land in that, so bad it's good, category. Plus, the people behind the camera are talented at stretching every single dollar. They're very intelligent and creative people in this very difficult budget range.

Primarily having the film set in a single location is the least of this film’s problems. I like Sly but he’s been doing some awful DTV films lately.

Looking back I often think bloated budgets stunt creativity or make film makers lazy, some of the best films ever made were born from problem solving leading to ingenuity because of lack of money.

I have not watched many of Stallone's recent films, there are probably a few lower profile movies I am not aware of. I skipped Expendables 4 when I heard the Expendables were hardly in it.

Tulsa King is on my watch list I have Paramount+ not got round to watching the show yet, I have heard it is very good.

Armor looks like an episode of a TV series. I don't think they spent a lot of money on it.

He's such a workhorse. I feel like that's his third new project announced in the last month. Just saw he's aiming to adapt another Burroughs novel the other day too.

GODZILLA MINUS ONE (and GODZILLA MINUS ONE/MINUS COLOR) is being re-released in the US starting on November 1st - as a 70th Anniversary celebration of the Big "G". In addition to the film itself, a 13-minute feature on the making of the film will be presented. And while I don't know how long the re-release period will last; it would be reasonable to assume 1-2 weeks only.

PS: I love this new poster and attendees of last night Godzilla talk at the New York City Comic Con were given this (for free).
