Outstanding piece of music, this YouTube video really does not do this track justice, listening on CD on my sound system its one of the greatest things I have ever heard, Morricone is a genius I forgot how incredible this score is, its a genre defining masterpiece.
This score has to be in contention as the greatest ever, excluding the LOTR's films nothing has matched my cinema experience of watching this film.
As a side note John Barry should have won 10 maybe 15 Oscars he was that good as we all know. OHMSS and YOLT should have won Oscars from the Bond series.
Dances With Wolves Soundtrack: The Death of Timmons (Track 5)
Dances With Wolves Soundtrack: Pawnees/Pawnee Attack/Stone Calf/Toughest Dies (Track 17)
The drums here wow.
Inspector Morse Theme (Full Version)
Not listened to this score in isolation in full in decades, it is amazing.
Man Against Beast
A lot of Williams cues remind me of Herrmann.
Great scene and the music is pretty awesome.
Composer for new Alien film is pretty random to me, the guy who apparently helped with BF:2049's Zimmer score, but otherwise isn't too notable so far. Benjamin Wallfisch.
Nemesis score is fire!!!
It is clever, the score in this trailer is the Aliens call/scream.
I love Star Trek when done well.
I'd recommend checking out some of his scores. He's done some very solid work.
Agree, I have The Flash score which Benjamin Wallfisch did, it is very good.
As good as it gets.
The Trip to Earth
John Williams is a genius.
Chasing Rockets
Ennio Morricone - L'Inferno Bianco (Ottoni)
One of the Maestros many masterpieces, I love this score.
A Gun for Ringo - Ennio Morricone
That first 25 seconds demonstrating why John Williams is one of the greatest.
"Palpatine Instructs Anakin"
Yeah @CraigMooreOHMSS The score is really, really good. I absolutely love it. Harold Faltermeyer would be proud! It seems legendary film series now trust Balfe a lot, as he's now a franchise composer.
Another masterpiece from the Maestro.
I was listening to a tribute to Anthony Minghella on one of the classical music radio stations and they played this.
Just bought this on CD, great soundtrack.
Another outstanding score from the Maestro.

The Time Machine | Soundtrack Suite (Russell Garcia)
One of my all time favorite films.
First up, Persecution Of The Masses by Shiro SAGISU from 2016's SHIN GODZILLA.
And an all time favorite of many fans (including me) the breathtaking Who Will Know from the same film.
Shiro Sagisu (1957-)
One of my favorite musical moments in the series is the song Sacred Springs written by the legendary Akira Ifukube for 1964’s MOTHRA vs. GODZILLA.
Is it Emi and Yumi or Yumi and Emi? Emi had a mole near her left eye, so that's the clue!
While perhaps not as lauded as Ifukube, Masaru Sato’s work had a unique “western” style. Sato did four film scores for the Godzilla series – starting with 1955’s GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN, but I really love the work he did for SON OF GODZILLA (1967).
Masaru Sato (1928-1999)
Mo-soo-rah!
And now for a (truncated) conclusion of the Showa Era soundtracks with Riichiro Manabe’s themes from GODZILLA vs. HEDORAH and GODZILLA vs. MEGALON.
I know there are those that strongly dislike the “fanfare” of the Godzilla motif from “Hedorah”, but I’m not one of those persons. I love it.
And of course, you have that opening theme song “Return the Sun” (performed by singer/actress Kaiko Mari) which looks and sounds like it could have been proposed for a Bond film. =))
Similarly, the “Jet Jaguar” theme from “Megalon” has grown on me over the years. Like the film, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Riichiro Manabe (1924-2015)
* Akira Ifukube will - fittingly - get multiple posts.
No one wrote suspenseful music quite like Bernard Herrmann, always been a huge fan of this particular score, I found Cape Fear today on tape cassette whilst in a charity shop, Cape Fear is up there with Herrmann best work whilst collaborating with Hitchcock.
I really need to rerwatch both Cape Fear films, they are both superb.

@Dwayne I thought the score to Shin Godzilla was incredile...
Shin Godzilla (2016) 10 - Black Angels
Well, Did You Evah?
Evil Under The Sun (1981) - Cole Porter - Main Titles
Anything Goes - Cole Porter/John Williams
