    A helicopter is featured in all three, however only in Spy is Bond seen in one.

    Nothing about clothes. But Bond is involved in all three scenes. It's not about characters...

    Maybe something to do with Bond playing dead. In Octopussy he escapes the Monsoon palace in a body bag pretending to be a corpse then comes to life and scares two servants - in AVTAK he survives the lake by using a tire as breathing apparatus when Zorin and his associates think they've killed him off.

    However in TSWLM, Bond believes he's killed Jaws after dropping him in a shark tank but in fact he's very much alive and swims away / survives, which Bond isn't aware of.

    That kind of thing. These things are tough to pick out a right answer.

    Cheers, @goldenswissroyale. Yes, there's a bit of a trend with Q and his Union Jack gear, whether gadgetry, equipment or personal items. Have a look at the toaster in his kitchen next time you watch NTTD.

    Are these all scenes only described in the novel? At least the one about Lisl isn't shown/heard in the movie, I think.

    First two are from the films and third from a novel. What's the connection and what's the odd one out? If you can figure out the last one you can get the rest from there.

    I will go with the container being OOO has it has nothing deceptive about it.

    Alright, so we have Columbo telling Lisl that Bond is a spy - this is mentioned by Bond later when he is with Lisl in the beach house;

    Kananga's watertight metal container seen in his cavern lair;

    The 9 of Hearts playing card featured in one of the novels.

    Finding the connection between the three will reveal the odd one out.
