I really like Bond's jacket during the Palmyra sequence. I'd like to find one like that.

Wow. I actually had time to watch the whole film without any interruptions.
    Excellent viewing.

    "Ya, maybe..........I'm crazy."

That's my response when many are surprised how high I rank this Bond epic. :D

    Cool comments @ToTheRight

I'm quite fond of it as well. Unfortunately i missed it at the cinema, not being a big Bond fan at the time. I got a second hand betamax copy in the mid-80's before 'sell through' became a thing. I absolutely loved it on first viewing and was pleasantly surprised it had little of the silliness that blighted some of the Moore films.

I still rank it pretty highly and upgraded to the Bluray a few years ago. Will be watching it over the festive season definitely.

Not sure if NSNA has it's own thread on here. If not, it needs one!

I'm quite enjoying this earlier DVD of NSNA. Although the Blu-ray is sharper, I prefer the colors on this version.

Blu-ray masters look quite darker. I don't know why. Dr. No and FRWL are unwatchables.

    ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE

    My traditional Christmas time viewing.
Bond entering the casino. One of my favorite casino sequences in the series.
We're having a snow storm tonight in which I walked home after work.
With the Christmas decorations in my village and ambiance I was put n the mood for this one.

Jelous of you! We have the traditional winter rain. It's been decades since we've had proper snow, and I can't even remember ever having it around Christmas.

For me it's too early for a OHMSS viewing, will do that closer to Christmas.
  • QBranchQBranch Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.

Main gadget, eh? Hmm. I think it's what's under his kilt.

Not sure I noticed the TV, but there's a bit of orange in this one. Bond's sweater, the Olympic uniforms the henchmen wear.

Always had a soft spot (ahem!!) for Catherine Schell. Love her in 'Return of the Pink Panther'
Too early for my annual Christmas watch of OHMSS, still intend to view on Christmas Day though I was thinking of giving it a break this year and choosing another Bond film, though I will probably change my mind last minute 🙃

I have barely watched any Bond films the past two years, I need to remedy that this Christmas.

I go long periods without watching the films then do a full rewatch hoping the films feel fresh. Sometimes it works lol

I haven't watched a single Bond film this year. Individual scenes, yes.

I think I started a watchalong on here though not sure if I finished the film a few months back, think it was DAF.

When I take a break from the films I always enjoy the rewatch, I often hope that I see something I had not picked up on before...
