On James Bond: "We kill him or I'm not doing it."
;) Kidding of course!
Their scene in Flashbacks of a Fool is exceptional.
1. It's a good (but not great) film. Yet having said that, it stays with you for a long time after leaving the theater.
2. Daniel Craig is exceptional, will likely get a nom. But the film doesn't have enough universal appeal to get him a gold statue.
3. The soundtrack is brilliant, both in song choices (especially "Come As You Are" by Nirvana) and the Reznor/Ross score. The songs seem anachronistic...
5. Not as "mind blowingly" Lynchian or Kubrick-esque as I expected.
6. Jason Schwartzman almost steals the film.
7. The full frontals left me with "a slight inferiority complex." LOL
8. I thought Kuritzkes' script needed to ease us into Lee's character, to allow us to get to know him better. His situation and motivations are not clear at all. They needed to be. It seems as though Kuritzkes was of the mindset that his audience will already know a thing or two about Burroughs. In reality, most won't bring that kind of prior knowledge into the theater.
9. There are a number of funny little moments, including...

I think he's had one of the better careers of the actors during/post Bond. Not everything he's done had been amazing, but Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Logan Lucky and Knives Out were extraordinarily good films for an incumbent Bond.
The mark of a great actor. Craig had a pretty good career before Bond, and as he's proved, a damn good one post Bond.
Such an interesting and watchable actor.
I'm in the minority, here, but I also liked Cowboys and Aliens.
Same here . We aren’t alone! Vastly underrated film. Indy and Bond working together!
Count me in as three for Cowboys and Aliens.
I loathe sci-fi and western films, but really enjoyed Cowboys and Aliens. Never understood the hate for the film, it's a bit fun.
The cast was superb. You can't go wrong with Sam Rockwell and Paul Dano in supporting roles.
+ the lovely Olivia Wilde!😁
Count me in as a fan of 'Cowboys and Aliens' though agree that I would have no problem with it being a straight western!
I loved her in Tron Legacy..😁
I quite liked Cowboys & Aliens
Seen it twice. Perhaps time for a rewatch...
Glad to see another Olivia Wilde fan! To think it was between her and Eva Green for Vesper in CR. While I'm happy that Eva got it, I still think Olivia has a future in Bond.
I am hoping Olivia simply has a future at all. She has been unfairly smeared in the media. I actually liked Don't Worry Darling and viewed it as a Feminist Shyamalan film. It was a good film (not great) that didn't deserve the hateful reviews, which were really about sticking it to her, in the wake of her separation from Jason Sudeikis.
I hope she bounces back better than ever.
I saw Don't Worry Darling last year. I rather liked it. Certainly more interesting than most of the other dreck around...
Oh, wait...
