Very sorry to hear, @Ludovico.
Meanwhile, in the news, singer Linda Nolan, member of the famous (in the 70s and 80s) group the Nolans has passed away from cancer, aged 65 :

Here's her (and her sisters) most well-known hit :

I knew he hadn't been well but that's quite a shock. A very unique artist. An early established film director who made the jump to television before the Golden era of TV too (and a sort of minor pioneer for things like digital filmmaking, and he even turned to using Youtube as a filmmaking platform later on, which is interesting).
I saw him speak at a film festival back in '17 after a screening of the first episode of Twin Peaks season 3. He obviously didn't like explaining his own work which lead to some quite funny responses when it came to the Q and A segment! My favourite was when someone asked him how he directed actors and he replied "I look at them in the eyes, talk very slowly, and wave my hand around occasionally to look important", haha. RIP.
Several years ago Lynch gave his fans an incredible gift in Twin Peaks The Return which was outstanding television and challenged the viewer as only Lynch can, I vividly remember watching episode 8 Gotta Light? very early hours and was absolutely blown away by that masterpiece.
Watching this episide now it's incredibly thought provoking.
Art.
There will only ever be one David Lynch, his films will be analysed and theorised forever, thank you. R.I.P.

Well, 85 isn't a bad age to leave the party, methinks.
I'm particularly fond of the original Twin Peaks series and Mulholmand Dr..
Such an influential artist. May he rest in peace.
That's sad news. Szwarc directed Columbo Season 3 opener "Lovely but Lethal" (1973).

With this death, Wayne Rooney is the only one still alive from the top 7 all-time goal scorers for Man United.

PS: It appears that the documentary, "David Lynch: The Art Life" is available on the Criterion Channel for free at the moment.

And I'm not a fan of soaps, but it's terribly tragic to learn that american actor Francisco San Martin has hanged himself, aged 39 :
