And of course, the car.
And of course, the car.
still a funny joke.
Still wonder about the other dinner jacket though. Was it a cheap one? Bond doesn't dress that bad...
still one of the most painful torture scenes ever.
I still have clear memory of coming out of that Friday night showing when it premiered. Absolutely elated. Bond was Back, after being in the doldrums for so many years for me! And it still holds up amazingly well
It does, better than I expected, and I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
I was the same, utterly elated and amazed, as it was sch a departure of DAD. I saw it just when it came out at home (Netherlands, then in Bankok, Australia and finally when I got to the USA it was still running, so could catch it one more time.
Pity I'll never be able to do that again.
Just go tback from my honeymoon and I'm watching LIVE AND LET DIE in honor of the baby alligator I held this week. We took an airboat tour thru alligator swamp terrain, and this film popped into my head.
Title sequence. possibly my favorite Binder sequence.
The M scene. I sure do like Roger Moore's hair.
The boat was pretty fast and made some sharp turns. Needless to say I had a huge smile on my face.
I love these scenes. The great JW Pepper!
What a coincidence, I was going to do LALD next as a watchalong, good choice! Hope all went well on your honeymooning? 🤩
