    I love swimming too, although I don't like the heat and I find Europe more picturesque in general, I think I'll go for Fontainbleau for the pool and the champagne. Also, I don't care about running into my ex.

    I've stayed at similar hotels living in South Florida like the Fountainbleu. It never gets old so I'll choose that

    Bean counter comment: The name of the Miami Beach hotel is Fontainebleau, not Fountainbleu. Just saying.

    Not very fond of Miami, tbh. Too fake. And right now, I'm boycotting America anyway for obvious reasons. And an expansive dinner with two wel-spoken gentlemen like @RichardTheBruce and @j_w_pepper is way too good to pass up on.

    I suppose you can not go wrong with either hotel. I once stayed at the Fountainbleau and enjoyed myself. Maybe Hamburg would be a better time for me.

    Alright lets jump to another thought provoking choice.

    Would you rather watch AVTAK Celebrating 40 years OR SP Celebrating 10 years?

    Many Bond films are celebrating anniversaries this year. Lets pit a couple against each other and see which one you would prefer to watch.

    Celebrating it's 40th anniversary we have AVTAK. An uneven film but still has it's merits. A great actor playing the main baddie, Grace Jones owning the screen as May Day. We have a colourful sidekick to Bond in Tibbet. A wonderful 80's song as the main title song. We have got Paris and San Francisco and their locations are focal points of the story. Last, but not least we have Moore, Sir Roger Moore holstering up for the last time.

    OR

    Celebrating it's 10th Anniversary we have SP. An uneven film but still has it's merits. We have a wonderful return of the strong silent henchman in Hinx, played with aplomb by Dave Bautista. We have SPECTRE returning to the big screen after over 40 years. We have a wonderful return of Mr. White. We have a stunning opening sequence in Mexico City. We have Craig embracing some of the lighter side of Bond.

    Which one is more likely to go into your player or be streamed?

    I've seen Spectre the least, so might load up that one. Personally I really like the London finale - the safe house meet-up, search for Madeleine in the ruins of MI6, the chopper take down...it's all good, and all the more fun for me.

    Funny, both films go over the top in similar fashion. AVTAK has tha half-car chase, SP has the plane/sledge chase. Let's be honest, if Hnx et al would just stop the cars, Bond would be sliding by without beeing able to stop.... and yet both have redeeming factors a plenty. Both Moore and Craig giving good performances, but this time I'll let the villains decide, and I find Christopher Walken's Zorin one of the best in the series. A proper psychopath.
    AVTAK it is.

    Sure, but Hinx's crew didn't see him, he was behind them and they thought he'd crashed.

    Spectre for me, although I do have a soft spot for AVTAK. Walken is great, so perhaps I'll double bill them.

    Neither film really gives you a reason to celebrate. The worst Moore film against the worst Craig movie. Christoph.. Wal... against Christoph Wal.. But I guess although SP is probably higher in my overall ranking than AVTAK, I'd rather celebrate the latter, because it's more fun.

    AVTAK is defo a guilty pleasure despite Moore being far too old. Spectre is a much better film but I still enjoy AVTAK for Walken and the classic theme by Duran Duran. All together now, “Moore, Moore power. Do it”

    I'd rather watch Spectre. It's the better film. But I probably won't. I'll wait until Thunderball's 60th anniversary in December. Now that will be worthy of celebration.

    Probably SP, it's quite underrated, and I've seen AVTAK lots of times, so the former which I enjoy more than most people!

    While both films are bottom tier (IMO), AVTAK is a bit more fun. Plus, I enjoy rocking out to Duran-Duran's theme song during the title sequence.

    Spectre, despite it's faults it has a few Bond moments I love, including the entire PTS.

    On a personal level, it's the first Bond film I took my girlfriend to see and it made her a Bond fan

    AVTAK, which is one of my favorites in terms of the ridiculous amount of fun it offers me.

    Then again, I'd watch it any day of the week before SP.

    SP. With all its flaws, I find it far more enjoyable than many better rated ones.

    I actually have soft spots for both these films (AVTAK was the first Bond movie I ever watched). But I think it's SP for me.
