I love this Bond film containing so many nighttime scenes. Excellent atmosphere.

Saunders reminds me a little bit of Paul Henreid in CASABLANCA.

My favorite Felix Leiter, John Terry. Sounds like he's doing a John Wayne impression.

The guards in the jail look old enough to take on Roger Moore. Dalton has little to worry about here.

Third film in a row where Bond steals a jacket and wears it as a disguise.

    Strawberry jam.

Wasn't the line originally "Strawberry jelly" so as not to confuse our American friends

Nice gunbarrel for Rog, though swings his arm a bit too much!!

Apparently, Tom Mankiewiczs original draft, had Baron Samedi kill just one agent, with a machete, Bond was then introduced in a chase sequence.
Sounds a lot better than we got here!!
    "Whose funeral is it?"
    "Yours!"

So Bond was on a mission in Rome, with Miss Caruso? Maybe they should have shown Bond finishing the mission in the pts, and we get the funeral scene after the titles?

Our villain, Dr. Kananga! Approached personally by David Picker for the role! Yaphet Kotto was initially hesitant to take the part of a villain!
