  Look like that both David Heyman and Amy Pascal mabey wil be new producers. She working earlier Sony for Daniel Craig first three Bond movies. She also was producer on the Venom movies, inspecialy i think Venom 2 is interesting because it is a bit QOS of that franchise. Directed by Andy Serkis with amazing good lotr draw scenes. Barbara Broccoli earlier considers to ask Venom 3 directed.

  Amazon appears to have found the new producers to steer the James Bond franchise now that longtime EON’s Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have handed over creative control of the franchise to the retai/streaming giant.
  
  Puck News is reporting that producers David Heyman and Amy Pascal are in talks to run the next iteration of James Bond. Heyman has been rumored for weeks for the part and both he and Pascal are said to be currently negotiating their deals.
  
  Officially, Amazon can’t announce anything until the deal between Amazon and EON closes so don’t expect any confirmations yet. The outlet is insistent that, barring a surprise upset, the pair have emerged as the clear frontrunners with top Amazon brass.
  
  Heyman is a British producer who specialises in handling franchises. He’s been a long time producer on the “Harry Potter” and “Paddington” films along with movies like “Barbie,” “Wonka,” “Gravity,” “Testament of Youth” and “I Am Legend”.
  
  Pascal is the LA-born former head of Sony Pictures turned producer and is best known for her producing work on the Tom Holland “Spider-Man”, animated “Spider-Verse” and “Venom” franchises along with films like “Challengers,” “Little Women” and “Molly’s Game”.
  
  When she ran Sony, she oversaw production and distribution of many major films including Daniel Craig’s first three Bond films – “Casino Royale,” “Quantum of Solace” and “Skyfall”.
  
  The site adds the plan is to make a new movie for theatrical release before any spinoffs or TV extensions. Locking in writers and/or a filmmaker will be first and comes before selecting a new Bond.

  
  But as you can read above and if true the deal between Eon and Amazon is not done deal yet, strange because she already said she sold it to them more then a month a go on 20 Feb 2025.

  One person whose name has been unexpectedly linked to the James Bond franchise in recent times has been Alfonso Cuaron.
  
  The “Children of Men,” “Gravity” and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” director hasn’t helmed a film since “Roma” in 2018, though did direct the limited series “Disclaimer” last year that sadly failed to make much impact.
  
  In December last year, he revealed he turned down a serious offer to direct a James Bond film which seemed likely to be “Quantum of Solace” going by the details he shared. Cuaron ultimately did have a small voice role in that film.
  
  Then two weeks ago, shortly after Amazon took creative control of the franchise, a report emerged indicating Cuaron may direct the next film if producer David Heyman became attached to the franchise.
  
  This week came the news that Heyman and Amy Pascal have emerged as the likely producers to take the reins of the films, and now Matt Belloni has said on The Town podcast that he’s heard Cuaron could well be directing the film.
  
  In fact, he indicates Cuaron has already met with mazon and has a new ‘take’ for how the next one could work. It comes on the heels of a report that writers have already been hired for the project.
  
  If true, it all strongly suggests Amazon isn’t going to wait around to get going on the film – so no waiting around another 18 months to two years for Chris Nolan to finish “The Odyssey”.

  I think that if Matt Belloni is saying that Cuaron had a meeting and a 'take' on the character, then it's basically happening. Though he is very cautious to place a big asterisk next to his claim:

  Nonetheless, given they are far down the road with hiring producers and talking to directors, I think Amazon want to move very quickly on this. Alfonso Cuarón is a phenomenal choice for 007. His technical skill and visual storytelling are A+, and he’s exactly the kind of director who could elevate the Bond franchise the way Mendes did with Skyfall. The guy has an incredible grasp of big-budget filmmaking—just look at Children of Men and Gravity.
  
  That’s why I was baffled when he did Disclaimer on Apple TV. I watched it, and honestly, it felt like a 90-minute potboiler stretched into 8 episodes. The story was thin, and his signature cinematic style felt wasted on the mundane London setting. It was like getting Lewis Hamilton to drive a Nissan Micra around the track—just not the right fit for someone of his caliber. The whole thing had the same drab, overextended feel as a forgettable Netflix drama.
  
  But if he’s finally stepping back into the world of high-stakes, big-budget filmmaking, and he's using his cachet to take on Bond? Bring it on! He should be doing what Denis Villeneuve is doing with Dune, or what Mendes pulled off with 1917—not just bland prestige TV. If this happens, we could be in for something special.

  Not a fan of Cuaron for Bond. I haven't seen anything in his work that suggests he would a good fit for an action adventure film. The most worrying part of the world of reel article is that apparently Cuaron has new "take" on Bond. I don't want a new take on Bond I just want a proper Bond film. We've had "new" takes on Bond for the last twenty years, time now for a good old fashioned adventure film.

  Kenneth Branagh would be excellent as well. Jack Ryan, Belfast and his Shakespeare work are all top notch.

  I think there’s a difference between a director who’s creative, reliable, and established, but perhaps works in different genres/makes different types of films each time they direct, and one that’s simply more run of the mill. Truth be told I’m not even sure there’s always a huge difference between certain ‘workman-like’ and ‘auteur’ directors in practice. Ultimately though I think it’s fair to expect a Bond director to have signs in their filmographies that they’re capable of making well crafted films that are regarded well.

  What exactly would a “proper Bond film” even be at this point when accounting for the last 60 years? Because Bond films have never been homogenous. I don’t think any Bond actor sans Lazenby has had a run of films that were stylistically and totally consistent all across.
  
  New takes are just inevitable due to the fact that new filmmakers get hired and give their own interpretation, and that’s before you factor in on what the actors do with the part. This has happened ever since Guy Hamilton replaced Terence Young. Even when Martin Campbell came back for Craig’s debut he took a different approach from what he did in GE, and would likely have yet another new approach if he were to do BOND 26.

  Cuaron has joked in the past that he only makes a new film once he runs out of money. Well, considering his last movie was in 2018, perhaps there's some truth that he just needs a project to keep himself afloat, and being a Bond fan and knowing Heyman well, it is just a good fit? I'll admit I thought it was a bit odd how the source of his alleged involvement seem to put it like he was pitching Amazon, rather than them going to him.

  Paul King I can see in a weird way. Hopefully it won't be Yates though. Not a Harry Potter fan anyway, but I really don't like his direction on those later films, and his efforts outside that haven't been great.

I hope to see some TSWLM / Moonraker style. In the mean time he also did music video's for HAIM who i have like to see doing the title song and that was not only for there music. There be moments iam doing sugestion's because there be part of bigger idea like understand why there consider Radiohead (Anderson also direct some videoclips of them) and why there not be choosen.   Weir hasn’t directed since The Way Back, and he’s since confirmed his retirement from filmmaking. While it would be great to see him come out of retirement for a Bond, it’s not likely to happen, I think.

  Espinosa last directed Morbius, and frankly I find the rest of his filmography rather underwhelming too. Wouldn’t be a good look for the new producers if it turned out he was being eyed for a Bond film.
