Lawtey is good, but reads so young. Then again, I guess Dickinson does too.

He’s not going to be getting younger, and a bit of quality weight would make him look more mature

Lawtey could star as a power bottom twink in the new o Russell flick.

I think that's an unnecessary and uncomfortable comment @buddyoldchap

Any guys who have worked with Cuaron? None of the young Potter film kids seem a great fit though people have brought up their names in the past. Never thought of Sandra Bullock as a Bond woman but she'd be an interesting villainess.

I think Matthew Lewis is the only Potter kid, one can imagine for the role.

That Elordi fella is just too tall, not elegant at all.

None of the proposals outside that poll we took a few months ago does anything for my imagination. Can't picture any of them as Bond. And I could immediately picture Daniel when he was first rumored. Alas, none of these young fellas.

Harry Lawtey just looks a bit too average to be 007. I’ve only seen him in Joker, but he has a fairly ordinary appearance. He doesn’t have the striking looks of Dalton or Brosnan, nor the rugged presence of Craig.

Jacob Elordi has a similar feel as Dalton in these new photos from Vogue

Looks like they're using OHMSS for audition scenes, eh ? Looking out the window contemplating retirement, marrying...

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand this Elordi thing

Well, he’s a younger celebrity heartthrob type, so I can see why has his fans. I don’t think he’s a bad actor by any means - in fact he’s a pretty good one - and he has the potential to be an even better one down the line, but I’ve not personally been blown away by any of his performances even if they were effective, nor do I quite get a sense he’d be able to give Bond the gravitas needed.

He looks good in those photos though.

I don’t think he’s a bad actor (though I confess I’ve not seen him in much), but I’m not sure Elordi as Bond would excite me much, nor am I certain he’d be a good fit for it.

I don't see it. He looks like a stunt man.

Not a news organisation, and I think Craig might take issue with the idea of him being the first Liverpudlian Bond! (He’s not far off anyway).
I do mean to watch that show, looks good.

I know nothing about this chap, but I would still take him over some of the names mentioned in this thread.

I can't say I'd imagine Bond with a Scouser accent, but he has an interesting face. Otherwise, I know nothing about him.

Yeah I'm not sure I've seen James Nelson-Joyce in anything and only caught the trailers for this show, so I couldn't speak as to how good/suitable he is. I'm sure he does other accents so not too worried about that. Someone known for playing tough guys is usually not a bad place to start though.

I'd argue it's the best place to start.

I haven’t really seen anything from this actor either. I just watched the This City is Ours trailer though. Seeing him as a potential Bond probably isn’t as outlandish as this random GB News article would suggest, but I’d probably bet on it not being him.

I just think it's cute that everyone has their moment to be imagined as Bond. But the role is much more than just a privilege.
