TWINE. Just watched PTS last night and want to appreciate it's story telling aspects and forget the drab locations and artyness

You Only Live Twice if I'm being honest

That would be a neat trick as I don't actually own a copy at the moment

I've been in a poker mood lately, so I'm wanting to watch Casino Royale.
  • The Living Daylights. Timothy Dalton was a revelation in the Bond franchise. Also one of my favorite John Barry scores and Maryam d'Abo is a delight. :x

I know I just said Casino Royale but I may have to change that to Licence to Kill, I have the title song stuck in my head.
  • I want to watch FRWL but I have so much TV to catch up on!

    My sentiments exactly.

I'm in the mood for TSWLM.

D' Abo was a cardboard cut out, Dalton might as well of had a mannequin with him and took it around set on Daylights, you would of seen more life or expression. Very good film for his debut but the Milovy character was the weakest link of that release I strongly feel

In any event, don't really feel the urge to watch any Bond movie right now but if I was forced, possibly Moonraker or Diamonds maybe

FRWL. I've got the opening titles theme in my head.

I WONT be watching Quantum of Solace for awhile. Watched it twice this week, and went into a long arduous fan made re-edit of the opening chase. I don't want to see that footage for a good while after that! But its one of my favorite films, so I won't be gone long ;)

I might watch Casino here soon, or FRWL. GoldenEye has been catching my attention too..

Tomorrow Never Dies; great beginning, and I like Yeoh kicking ass and her scenes with Bond are good. Nice finale. I could do without Paris, but overall it's a fun and exciting Bond movie, even with the insipidly stupid Carver character.

Die Another Day - because I just have not seen it in years. I remember a really good beginning and a wonderful sword fight. If that's all I enjoy, besides watching Pierce, then hey that's okay for now. So low expectations and a fast forward button ready.

Goldfinger - and I will, tonight!

I'm watching the films for the first time in four years. I don't want to share my thoughts just yet but I will say everything feels so, new, so very very, fresh. I can't quite explain it. I'm having a wonderful time so far.

I would like a watch of Thunderball now but don't own a copy, even You Only Live Twice I would put on right now even, but no copy of that either, have every other Bond release avaialble except Quantum Of Solace, think I'll just grab what is available in the collection and have a view some time soon. From Russia With love sounds quite appealing or if not that, even Tomorrow Never Dies, the first half is worth a watch, but I'll most likely switch off by the time they leave for South East Asia. I was also thinking Goldeneye recently, that is one of the best of the last 30 years and Brosnan does a fine job for the most part, I will have to decide soon

In honor of the 25th anniversary release in the US the other day(7-31-1987 was when it made its debut), I'd like to watch The Living Daylights a/k/a the best Bond film made from from 1970 onwards IMHO.

That's a good opinion too, but I was thinking maybe For Your Eyes Only or even The Spy Who Loved Me for that, possibly even Casino Royale. Best Bond in Dalton on screen for sure. Now that you mention it, I do feel I will watch Daylights next, as it's the 25th year since release, if not that, then possibly From Russia With Love, could do with a great Bond watch sometime soon

To be honest? Any of them regardless of whatever is good or bad? It's just nice to forget about the real world for a couple of hours by watching my favourite fictional hero! :-bd

Just watched Moonraker on tv yesterday and as I will miss FYEO next week (due to bloody work), it looks like my good wife and myself will be watching FYEO tonight. :)

Gonna watch TSWLM and then CR today.

I wanted to watch Moonraker this night, but couldn't find my copy of it anywhere, lot of junk to sort out, looked high and low for it but couldn't find it anywhere, there were some other Bond releases scattered about but I was looking for one specific release. I feel like watching it now still, but time is getting late. If not that I would of gone for Goldeneye maybe or Diamonds are Forever. Not my favorite Bond release of course, but still James Bond, and has some worthwhile moments. Maybe another time
  • QBranchQBranch Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.

I'm so itching to watch GoldenEye- but I'm trying to be patient and wait until December so I can keep with the tradition of watching all of them in order of release just before going out to see Skyfall.
Why do I do this to myself?! #-o

EDIT: Screw it- I watched GoldenEye and it's just as epic as it always was. :-bd
