OK, it will be interesting to see what they say on the matter.

It could be the use of scalpels in the PTS, BBFC has had a downer on knives/blades etc for years, Plenty's breasts (as mentioned earlier) or Blofeld in drag, might even be that the flaming Mr Kidd's exit has been reinstated to it's full length, something that I believe has been trimmed for all home video releases.

BBFC have passed a few decisions today that comfirms that Casino Royale will be the full release as per the deluxe edition in terms of special features. No longer the vanilla issue we were lead to believe from the initial press release. Roll on Bond 50 ;-)

This is interesting too. The Bond 50 box set has been touted as having a bonus disk of 1 hour length. This link shows an entry for just one of the features running at 59 minutes alongside all the other items posted...appears the hour long disc is expanding by the minute! Its getting better. My only concern is that they release a set then announce a limited edition that contains even more...would they be that cruel???! ;-)

That just seems like too much to hope for. One thing at a time.

Yes guys, sadly all QOS details offer nothing new..maybe we have to wait for The Craig Trilogy Box Set?

Let us not be too premature in our predictions of events to come.

'All the Bonds together' it proclaims yet with dismal predictability George doesnt even feature in a single shot.

The breakdown in terms of footage seemed to be along these lines:
    Dan - 50%
    Brozza - 20%
    Sean - 20%
    Rog - 8%
    Tim - 2%
    George - big fat zero

I understand the reasoning behind such marketing of course but its rather depressing they have to pretend that your getting a box full of Dan Bond with a few others when in actual fact you are getting 2 discs with him on.

Also like the fact that they think 'Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style' and 'Being Bond' are worth mentioning as an inducement to buy. The BBFC site lists them as running at 3m 50s and 3m 6s respectively! When can I get my hands on this amazing bonus content?

And please dont insult peoples intelligence with '120 hours of bonus material'. Be honest: '118 hours of reheated leftovers that have been around for years and a paltry 2 hours of new stuff.'

Designing 007 is longer if you at all together. On this moment there are 3 Desiging 007 feature confirmd: Desiging 007, Bond's look, Bond's world. Totaly the online time of those features be a litle bit over 13 minutes. With your confirmd the 007 on the BD going to be 3 minutes,50 seconds that is is 1 minuut and 19 seconds longer then the onine version already.

    Designing 007 - 1: 007

The thing is, we all know and have seen this stuff already. It's hardly enlightening to an actual Bond fan. Maybe a casual one. The only thing I've seen that's anniversary related and promises to deliver is the Taschen book. Quite honestly I'm not fussed about any of the special features. All I care about is that the picture and sound on each film is as good as it can possibly be.

This may sound like a daft question, i know the pre order price for the boxset is £89.99 on play.com but does anyone know if the price will increase after release?
the reason i ask is my wife is on maternity leave and i dont think the budget will stretch at the moment.

I doubt it will increase. In fact I would say there is little or no chance of that. You're safe to buy it now if you want to @Cdr_Bond.

I think it will increase shortly afterwards, and then if you can wait long enough it may well drop below the pre-order price - who knows?

Does anyone know if there are new menus on the new blu-ray releases? or are they staying with those already on the blu-rays already released? I would like to see some kind of 50th anniversary menus exclusive to this release.

As the Blu Ray Boxset is a mere few weeks from release, HMV customers are in for a treat. As well as the 23 stunning high definition discs, HMV have also listed exclusive individual art cards for each Bond film, from 1962′s Dr No, right up to this years highly anticipated ‘Skyfall’, which will be supplied with the set. You can pre-order the set here, which is released on September 24th.

  • Sweet, the blu-ray covers are the film's original posters! Much better than those lame white gunbarrel covers.

Although I would have rather seen an updated version of the ultimate edition covers.

It's odd only the already released films are being re-issued. You would think every one would want a complete separate set, not just 13 of the 22.
Sweet, the blu-ray covers are the film's original posters! Much better than those lame white gunbarrel covers.

Those look like the art cards to me, found underneath the discs. I'd much rather have them as the covers though, as unlikely that is to ever happen.

Im not going to get too excited just yet.. They look more like fan art ideas...and why is there a helicopter on TMWTGG cover? The whole things a bit odd. The HMV exclusive does look great however. ;-)

The HMV exclusive should be good for £120. That's £30 more just for those ultra cool art cards!

Those covers are quite simple and sharp I must say (with a special mention to LALD). I'd like to see an entire re-release however like @Samuel001 has said.

TWINE's cover almost makes me think the film was good. (Har har)

The new covers are pretty good. I don't like the too much photoshop on Connery's face in GF and TB, but other than that they're good.

I'm worried because on Amazon.co.uk they still don't have subtitles info.
Does anyone know something about that?

Roger Moore on the FYEO remember me to George Lazenby at the beach. Mabey there should change that one a bit and yusing that kind of style for OHMSS.

Twine look to much Die Hard 3 or 4. LTK look to much of the DAD background of the soundtrack. No the winner this time be Goldfinger (mabey a bit to much white) with FRWL next and DAD 3th place. I like the critic look of it whyle of course it be a kind of copy past from the soundtrack/poster too.

Well they look better then the old covers, but they look to much of a fan art in a way.

The cover for LTK is a disappointment, but the others are awesome!

Youre joking. They are nowhere near as good as some of the fan art blurays on this very site.
