This is so awesome! Love it.

Is it just me, or do these look like novel covers? I like them, a lot.

    Loved them all.
  • They look cool, but I rather see the rest of them on Blu-ray first along with the Re-releaeses. They make more sense than holding them back.
  • Plus, I owned all three Box sets + The Man With The Golden Gun + Licence To Kill that I bought at Best Buy all for $80 Last year (when they were on sale for Father's Day for $20 per set and $10 per single title) and the OOP Blu-ray only release of NSNA for $20 (all of which is unopened)
  • and about the titles being one-disc... disappointing choice. I rather see the DVDs loaded with bonus material than going Vanilla.

@JamesBond1988 you can edit your posts if you have more you want to say. :)
  • Wasn't Diamonds Are Forever recently changed from a PG to a 12?
  • @Murdock Thanks! I was just saying three different thoughts, that's all.

    Thanks @HMBFF.

So, this will be re-released both in BD and DVD?

@marketto007 this editions will be re-released in DVD in both US and UK. About the BD, aside from the ones listed in FOX Connect, that will also be re-released with this new covers, I don't know if the remain 9 films will be released in BD outside the Bond 50 collection. Talking about Bond 50, I didn't knew that was also going to be released in DVD (http://www.foxconnect.com/bond-50th-ae-set-sac-the-dvd-widescreen.html). Also, did anyone ever saw this new german covers for CR and QOS?

The new covers look great! It kinda makes me regret pre-ordering the BOND 50 Blu-Ray box set...

With all the new information coming out these days, has anyone heard anything about the BR box set's subtitles? We're getting really close to its release and still not a word on Amazon.co.uk...
  • I still don't quite understand why they are putting those nine previously released blu-ray titles on the market again -- in parallel to releasing the full range including the missing ones as a set. Who do they think will buy those nine discs? My guess is that any Bond fan with a blu-ray player has already bought the 2008/2009 releases and either will buy the full set or wait for the remaining titles to join the list of individual blu-ray releases.

So what is the distributor up to . . ?

The artwork looks great, shame though that it is only 1-Disc editions. That does let me down.

@HMBFF do you have any information about those CR and QoS? Like the special features, or anything?

gt007 not only haven't we heard anything about the subtitles of the BR box set - there are still no informations what the Special Features are really like: It's a nice list out there but I would like to know if all the Ultimate Edition Specials are on the BR too. I now that was the case with the 11 stand alone OOP BR's but are those 11 now the same reissues or new authored ones and will the remaining 9 look the same? What I've seen at the BBFC page so far is that they at least re-evaluated the Bonus Material (like The Road to Casino Royale, James Bond in the Bahamas, Bond Girls Are Forever) from the Casino Royale Collector's Edition BR this month, so there are chances that we will get a complete set. But confirmation from the Studio a month in advance would be great.

Because it looks good in the shelf if all the covers have the same theme.

Dont worry all the extras from the Ultimate Editions will be intact - I am 100% sure of this if only because if you are knocking out a lazy release (which lets be honest is all the Bond 50 box set is) you are not going to go to the bother of re-editing a pile of discs that you already have stacked up in the warehouse when its much easier to just repackage them and get us mugs to buy them.

Although I've just realised this only applies to the ones that have already been released on Bluray. They could just do the rest as the basic film - but even I am not cynical enough to believe they would be lazy enough to do that.

It makes it even worse that Danny is in nearly the same outfit on both covers.

But the re-release covers from DN-DAD look great! I'm really digging that Live and Let Die cover.

I think it's odd that they are re-releasing CR and QoS in the old cover artwork instead of
    the new...

Well, well. Everything for the money i belive.

Those are German covers. No new US/UK covers for those films yet. Both fit in with the new style enough as it is anyway, so all 23 should match in some shape, next year.

I thought they were going to be released around the world with those covers. But noooo....

Not the two new white covers of the previous page, no. These won't be a part of the set:

But are there going to be any new art work for them or are they going to stick with the two old ones?

I also liked how they airbrushed most of Moore's wrinkles out of the OP and AVTAK covers! ;)

Stick with the old covers I would guess. In a few films time, the whole set will get another revamp I assume.

So far we have had new DVD covers in 2000, 2006, 2008 and 2012. Make it stop!
