Music that sounds like from a Bond movie

It's too sad the the collection of Bond tunes and similar sounding music has disappeared with the old forums.
Maybe it is time to start it again? I don't know if it exists already, but I heard this song worth listening to for a bit of Barryesque reverie:

Sparkle Up - The High Llamas (from the Album "Hawaii")

Robbie Williams- Man Of All Seasons (yes I know the film it's in)
  • I've mentioned this in a similar thread, but Tom Petty's "All or Nothing" gives me the "James Bond" feeling. Even the title sounds like a Bond movie to me. ;)

Michael Giacchino's entire Incredibles score. (He took over work for John Barry when he left the project).
  • The band Muse with their new album track Supremacy.

Here's a trailer from The Incredibles that was unreleased but the score was when Barry was going to do the movie. Giacchino's score is very Bondish for good reason

  • Sahara OST by Clint Mansell
    In particular this this track

John Powell still puts my thumbs up for a future James Bond score. This track is masterfully composed and conducted. It is a pure suspense track that builds up slowly to one hell of a climax. It skillfully blends modern electronic tunes with Bond-ian strings. A bit like John Barry in 'The Living Daylights':

I always thought that would be a great one haha.
  • U2's Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me is the great Bond theme that never was.
  • The Rolling Stones' classic Gimme Shelter would have made a great theme.

Listen to Michael Buble's Cry Me a River, Feelin' Good and the opening of Georgia On My Mind - it's the Bond theme. They're all very Bond-Ian. You have to watch this Buble' QoS opening. It fits well!

I'm not sure if it would work as a Bond song, but there is a recent song that has a music video influenced by the style of a Bond TS here:

I don't know if this includes the score throughout the film as well, but in Hot Fuzz, when the main character, Sgt. Angel, strolls back into town on a horse, he's shot at by the citizens of the village. The music when he's ducked behind a fountain, under fire sounds almost exactly like it came from Casino Royale.
  • Look at me. Geri Haliwell,no. honestly.

No, it's just after that, when he's under fire and pinned behind the fountain.
