Saw it thrice in London (premiere, BAFTA, BFI IMAX). Should be enough ;) Might catch it here in Sweden later, depends.

I'm guessing it was cut. I wondered the same thing as I was going back through some of the videos on the YouTube channel and in one of Sam Mendes' blogs the airport was behind him. Might see it in the deleted scenes.

Thank you ben. I wish they used it because i think she didnt get enough screen time. Also, it would have been nice to see here with a few more different looks. they should have used it.

@Gareth00789 I agree, I feel she was underused however they may of wanted to keep the film moving along and I'm not sure what this would of added. Maybe we will see at some point.
  • yeah, it would be interesting to see. i feel the character need a bit more developing. it seemed to rush a bit half way through. but thats how things go, i am pleased with it all overall. i cannot wait for the blu ray release.

I'm just back from my second viewing (will see it again with my girlfiend and possibly more if I get any more invitations) and was impressed enough to seek this forum out after a few years' absence. It's good to be back!

Because everybody has just been so friendly to me. But really, can we stop with the argument/insults? I know I haven't been exactly nice myself, but it's immature and just looks stupid to someone else reading it. I get it, most people on here really don't like the fact that I hate the reboot series. This is nothing new.

Yes, it was cut from the film. There are also pictures of Berenice wearing a different black dress, looking gorgeous and sitting on a bed, and this isn't in the film either. I wish they had used both scenes..

Couldn't care less that you don't like the reboot, just sick of reading insults. That said, you have my apology for my comment.

  • Probably gonna watch it twice, going for a second time on tuesday. It'll probably lure me back for a third time.
  • have it seen it three times now , will go again next weekend, give me time to see it with fresh pair of eyes !

Just spent 20 minutes on the phone getting through to my local cinema box office to book my 2nd viewing. Apparently they've sold out all today and virtually all tomorrow. Well worth the wait on the phone, plus it's cheap ticket Monday! Then I,m off to see it with a mate on Friday. Might leave it at 3 viewings.Casino Royale remains my record of 6 cimema outings ( 3 of which were in Australia in different states in between watching the England cricket team getting hammered in the days when the Aussies had a decent team!)

Last night was my 4th viewing. Will see it at least 3 more times this upcoming week.
  • Twice and 2nd time for me is always more relaxing. hope to see it again next week but if tickets available.

Well I've already seen it once and I'm going to see it again tonight with my old man.
  • Would love to see it a 2nd time but I NEED TO WATCH IT IN ENGLISH! my first viewing it was dubbed into French and I hate dubbed films but I have no choice as nearly all popular films are dubbed in France (unless you live in Paris where there are plenty of cinémas that show the film in their original language)...so until a cinéma near where I live shows an original language version I will have to wait a while to see it a second time!
  • Should know better than to participate in anything Skyfall related, but when we go to watch, I think twice should be sufficient, although for Quantum Of Solace, once was enough! (we did view Royale twice on release)

Such big things have been said about this years release, and spoilers, have been leaked one way or another since production began, albeit with no serious damage caused, but I do feel this will be a significant improvement on the garbage of what came before and I'm quietly confident it should be a good watch when we go to see this release in a short time. I never understood the need for people to go see a Bond release about six times. No matter how spectacular it can be, twice, or at the most three times, seems sufficient for any viewer ?

I presume the garbage you're referring to is Brosnan's last Die Another Day (which most people agree is indeed rubbish) and not Quantum of Solace which is underrated IMO and others?

Still over three weeks to go before the film hits here down under /:) but I'll definitely see it twice (once in IMAX hopefully). Might see it again towards the end of the run. TND was the first one I seen in cinemas. Seen CR just once, I think- and TND/TWINE/DAD/QOS twice. I haven't seen any film more than twice at cinemas, still I wouldn't rule it out for SF considering its great reviews.

I saw it on Friday and Sunday. Next will be Wedensday. So atleast 3 times. One of the best Bond movies in a while. Javier Bardem is brilliant!
  • I agree with the fact that seeing a film too many times close together can kind of kill the magic, but I saw it on Saturday and am off to see it again on Tuesday with the loyal member that is DCsaRed, but I expect that will be it until the Blu-ray release
  • http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=35626 Emprie hcat about skyfall. interesting chat. i aggreee with all of it. It is a great film.

I couldn't stand that pod cast, a bunch of so called film critics pretending to know about Bond but just sounding like a bunch of blokes down the pub who don't, I got ten minutes in and just had to switch it off. Empire are still in my bad books for not affording the film 5 stars and the drubbing QOS gets considering the magazine scored it the same rating as Skyfall, if a vastly overrated film like TDKR gets 5 then why not a much better Skyfall?

Yes, I find myself shaking my head when critics review a Bond film and conclude it with some uneducated remark like, "Skyfall, the 24th Bond film- while it's no Goldfinger (easily the best Roger Moore film, released in 1963)..."

Half the reason why I take reviews with a grain of salt.

Watched it three times now and I'm loving it more and more! The first time was wonderful but the second time got somewhat interrupted by some boozers with noisy cell phones who, as the film kicked off, decided to throw a private party... My third viewing was the best so far: full VIP treatment with snacks and drinks.
  • Looks like I will be seeing it three days in a row once it hits theaters here in the U.S.!

Thursday in IMAX with friends, Friday with another group of friends and Saturday with my dad, the man who introduced me to the Bond franchise way back when. It's gonna be a good week!
