    Dalts, there aren't too many people who can claim to be both Bond and Rassilon. A super smooth spy AND a time lord!

    Connery- would be alright for a nice gentlemanly chat
    Lazenby- would probarly result in a barfight
    Moore- would be awesome and a hoot
    Dalton- well agian he would be rather intimadating but after a couple of pints we would be reciting Shakespearian Poetry o
    Brosnan- a pint with Brosnan would be 100% awesome sauce and a great time
    Craig- he would be a mean drunk and could possibily kill someone

    It has to be Sir Roger. He doesn't take things, or himself, too seriously and is without doubt one of the most warm charasmatic film stars ever. He is a practical joker too with a twinkle in his eye.

    However, and please don't shoot me down for this. The thread said which James Bond actor would you most like to have a drink with and if we look outside EON productions there is one man who would be at the top of my all time list of people I would like to have had a drink with. That man is Sir James Bond actor, from the travesty that was the 60's version of Casino Royale, David Niven. Probably one of the best raconteurs who ever lived.

    I would love to talk with all of them especially Connery. I would talk with Connery more for the reason of Dalton's misunderstanding when it comes to his Bond interpretation. I read an interview with the actor Simon Pegg who said Dalton is a laugh and nowhere near as serious or socially uncomfortable as he is perceived. Mr Pegg even invited himself and his friend to tea with Dalton in his Hollywood home.

    And Mr Pegg turned downed Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds due to schedule conflict. Dalton is a cult figure and that is cool in my book!

    Pierce... after watching that EON Documentary, he seems to be just so.. merry. I reckon we'd have plenty of laughs.

    (And of course Dalton, I just don't know how much I'd be able to converse, I'd be so nervous and intimidated and refraining myself from squeeing).

    After the above, Roger. It'd be a charming convo and I'd be all smiles.

    Roger Moore great sense of humour and he comes across as someone who would be happy to share some great storys. other than bond, big fan of the saint and persuaders, canonball run and shout at the devil and the list goes on.

    I would like to have a chat with Dalton. He seems like a decent bloke. Have you seen the interview with Terry Wogan he did in 1989? His story about Mae West's real age is a hoot.

    Incidently, he said in the Hot Fuzz audio commentary that the most fun he ever had when making a film was shooting out a car window at 70mph during the climax. To be honest I think his performance in that film shows this. He's wonderful in it and you can tell he's having a blast.

    Roger Moore because:

    1.I'd leave with a smile on my face.
    2. He has had more contact with the other ex-Bonds than any other Bond and could talk about them with authority.
    3. He could talk about Cubby and Harry with authority because he knew them.
    4. His career spanned a wide period of time so that he could talk about other legendary non-Bond celebrities.
    5. And, this is subjective,,,,but I get the feeling that Roger Moore is smarter than the other Bonds (not to say that the others are dumb). Certainly Sir Rog's Bond seemed to be very intelligent.

    Yes I saw Terry Wogan a few weeks back. Hot Fuzz was a chance for Dalton to show how wrong his critics of Bond have been about him. Have you seen the outtakes in Hot Fuzz? Dalton uses some colourful language which was funny. He is a cool guy who does not care if people approve of him or not. Tarantino even said he did a very good job as Bond but he would have taken them in a different direction to what John Glen did.

    Cubby liked Dalton because he knew he was capable of surprising people and no doubt this was the plan for his era. I don't think Cubby planned for it be just two films and many critics conveniently forget of the 6 year legal battle. He would have done four films as Bond because it is not a role you can try everything as an actor in just two.

    While ive always had mixed views on Dalts I DO think he deserved a 3rd film.

    Dalton and Tarantino would have been an interesting couple (I know about his links to Bond films).

    I never had mixed feelings about Dalton because I did my research on him before his first film came out and knew he was a high calibre actor. And I am sure Dalton's Bond in a Tarantino film would swear like a trooper. I mean in LTK people thought he was unclassy by saying "Piss off!" in a dirty tone to the MI6 agent. Bond is a dirty character but not necessarily in the sex side only. Tarantino will take an actor and show a side of them that the world takes notice.

    Obviously I am being theoretical but Tarantino is an actors director. And Tarantino is a huge fan of Simon Pegg and they talk. And who wanted Dalton in Hot Fuzz?:)

    Having read several of the books I can certainly see Dalton's angle (a not always nice character determined to get on with his job - a "blunt instrument"). I just don't know whether he pulls it off as effectively as Craig does.

    To be honest, I do think Craig maybe is a bit more...excessable? :-?

    Anyway back to pints.

    I think in terms of going out and having a good time Brozza would be ideal. Just don't bring up Bond - otherwise you may be risking a drunken headbutt :))

    I think if Dalton had the same meticulous support that Craig got to really make him shine then Dalton would be unstoppable. Craig had the advantage of studying what audiences will let you get away with as Bond and where the no go areas are. Dalton took the risk first and almost got away with it but the 6 year legal issue came along.

    People would say the same if Craig exited after QOS through no fault of his own. I believe each actor should be considered in context of their time and history. That's fair.

    Yeah! He would have some great stories and was close to Cubby. It would be damn interesting and I would get the first round in happily!:)

    I would ask how he got approached back in 1968 and would he have done it had Cubby offered an astronomical sum of money.

    Connery would be great to have a drink with, I'd let him do all the talking and listen to him moan and slag people off.

    Dalton would be great too. I'd be entertained by his theatrical gestures, seriously, picture Dalton being drunk and theatrical. That's a paper per view event in itself.

    Lazenby would keep the topic of discussion entertaining sleazy.

    I can probably imagine a drink with Craig would be like going out, having a drink with a friend.

    I'm not sure about Brosnan. I think I'd do all the talking and let him listen to me!

    Moore would be entertaining but I'd have to be on my very best behaviour.

    Connery, Dalton and Lazenby would be the best. Laz n' me would get pissed and mumble about how hot Diana Rigg was.

    To hell with pints though. My favorite drink is a vodka martini.
