  My soon-to-close branch of HMV has put out some Bond blu rays for £4.99 each. They had:

  Die Another Day.
  
  I bought DN, TB, LALD and FYEO. I passed on FRWL for the time being as it didn't have a slipcase. I passed on DAD because it's rubbish.

  I was in a branch of The Original Factory Shop today. It's a discount type shop, and they had one of the Toystate Lights and Sounds James Bond Cars from last year. It was the Casino Royale Aston Martin DB5 and cost £7. I had a look around for some of the other larger cars but didn't see any.

  Just spotted in The Works, reproductions of original lobby card sets along with a print of the movie poster. There seems to be 12 sets in the series from Dr No to Moonraker plus Octopussy. Price £4.99 each. I've not seen these before so they caught my eye.

  Yesterday I was a very lucky guy, I was shopping for records at a used record store in Long Island, when I stumbled upon a muzak LP from Phase 4 (of James Bond & misc. spy themes). Paid $4.99 for the LP, got the record home and discovered something amazing inside! Buried deep inside was a SIGNED PHOTO OF SEAN CONNERY! Best $4.99 ever spent!

  I wonder how badly the Canadian consumers got screwed over in regards to their Bond 50 set? Couldn't be worse than the UK buyers.

  I love The Works. Tonight when I walked in they had a pile of 12 Skyfall diecast helicopters piled up. Price £5.99 each. I think the retail price last year was around £17.

  Just a quick update. I opened up the box and set up the helicopter on the stand. It's a very nice little model.
  
  But, there is a 'but'. It's almost completely plastic. Bizarrely only the underside of the model is metal. The vast majority of the fuselage is plastic. If I had paid full price a year ago I might well have been annoyed but for six quid I'm happy with it.

  Thank you for posting @Chevron, because I popped in today and purchased one. It was bigger than I thought, and it is rather good. A nice little addition to my Bond collection!

  A couple of updates for The Works.
  
  Firstly my local shop has the remaining Skyfall helicopters reduced to £3.99.
  
  Secondly on the website they have the omnibus editions of the comic strips for £4.99 each. I only have the first two volumes so I've just ordered books 3, 4 and 5.

  Today in a branch of the CEX shops I was looking at the Bond DVDs and I found a Casino Royale slipcase that was a bit bigger than the others. The reason is that there was an envelope of 9 art cards included with the movie.
  
  Price £1. Grabbed it.
  
  After a bit of research it seems it was a Virgin exclusive on release of the dvd in 2007.
