  Interesting...I remember reading somewhere that Dalton was the tallest actor to play Bond so it was interesting to see how small the variation was between the first five actors.
  
  There's an interesting anecdote about Craig's height (which I had heard was 5'11"). There's a Canadian entertainment reporter who is somewhat tall and has a crush on Craig. She was nervous about meeting him as she long ago learned that most celebrities disappoint once you meet them in the real world. But she said her first thought on meeting Craig was "Oh, he's not short - in fact, he's reassuringly tall!". I loved that phrase.

  FRWL (the book) gives 007's height (in foreign) as 183cm which makes him just a fraction over 6ft (in real money). His weight is (also) given as 76kilos which is just short of 12 stone (again in real money).
