I'd recommend either a double feature of either OHMSS/TMWTGG or YOLT/OP.

My guilty please is Live and Let Die. Moore is somewhat of a hardass in his first attempt, and true the concept is a bit "out there", but if you're looking for a great Bond adventure, a great soundtrack, a beautiful Bond girl (Jane is my favourite) then just let go and enjoy the truly cinematic James Bond.

I'd go for GE if you want a "modern" Bond and FRWL if you want a "classic" one

Quoting Shark: I highly recommend Mr. James Page to watch DIE ANOTHER DAY on an infinite loop.
I might be able to talk him into it, as long as you listen to David Arnold on an infinite loop ;)

The flick I'm most likely to watch prior to my next Bondathon is TLD. It's probably the flick I "miss" the most when being away from the series a long time.

I recommend LTK, I've never really liked it despite being a Timothy Dalton fan and so it tends to be the film I watch the least (well apart from DAD obviously!), but for some reason the last few times I've watched it I found I enjoyed the experience and now consider it a very good Bond film. I suppose the reason is that now with Daniel Craig's grittier and more violent take on the Bonds means that LTK is no longer such an oddity in the series and can now be viewed as just being ahead of it's time, so I recommend that...mind you the winking fish is still really annoying!

Just pick both! Dalton is that good.

If you can only pick one Dalton film, I'd say TLD. It's more classically Bondian, cold war-ish and has John Barry's score. Plus, Kara is my favorite Bond girl.

And Casino Royale if you want a mix of both together.

@Luds, if you ever do come in there, thanks for fixing the title and closing my duplicate. Could have swore there was one around here, ;-)

Ahh! Yes this did get buried here for some time.

To answer your question @Creasy47 it's Connery, but there are a few films I have not revisited in a LONG time, namely all of the Brosnan films. I also have not checked out LTK or LALD or Gun in a while either. But it kind of feels like I'm scraping the barrel here...except maybe LTK and GE

Yeah, I would go with GE, @JBFan626. Favorite Bond film, obviously my favorite Brosnan flick, and it's just enjoyable from start to finish. If you wanted to go with Connery, watch GF. Classic every time.

I recommend TMWTGG. Exotic locations, John Barry score, Moore in his least PC Bond performance, great cast of memorable characters.

Post bug, and there was no need to post the same pic of Brosnan twice. Once is bad enough. ;-)
