he surely will not be played by Jesper Christensen after his comments on CR and QOS (as of QOS I actually agree, bit not on CR)...

Is this a joke? He was misquoted! I'm not posting the links to the articles again. 20+ times was enough.

Well, if I'd be given a pound for people claiming that they have been misquoted, I'd be a rich man...

And, you know, we will have bad luck, because there will never be a new Bond movioes post Dec 20th this year, and the Mayas also robbed us of Christmas... :-/

I agree with @Germanlady, Newman was alright but I prefer Arnold.

Andree Bernard, a 'famous' British soap opera actress is rumored for a role in Bond 24 according to IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2379713/

Remember how we all though Berenice Marlohe was nonsense.. and then she was at the press release..

The difference is that was once month before the announcement.

I'll put this down to some crazy adding their name to IMDB for now.

I'll second that. Newman did something interesting in SF but it wasn't quite Bond like what Arnold brought to his films...

Agreed. I thought Newman did a serviceable job and I do like the music for the PTS and when Bond is on the boat, making his way to the Macau casino but all in all, I really loved Arnold's work for CR and QoS. He really stepped his game up for the Craig era and I think he could have done some extremely memorable for SF.

About Arnold/Newman, I agree with Germanlady and doubleogo, but if they want Mendes to return, and Mendes insisting on Newman, I would not cry me eyes out...

yeah, heard about that. It's about time we got another red head. We haven't had a decent Femme fatale since Fiona Volpe in Thunderball.

Thats harsh! You could say that Craig hasn't seen a femme fatale yet, but Brosnan had some of the best femme fatales in the series... Onatopp, King, Frost.
And we had a red head in QoS! ;)

  • She does nothing for me, especially in that first pic.

Although if she's a villian then she wouldn't really have to look really hot.

There's also Elektra, Frost, etc. I said she wouldn't have to, we've gotten Klebb, (shudder) Mayday and Bunt, so despite the odd really fit femme fatale, the looks bar for the female villians hasn't exactly been raised as much as it has with the good Bond girls.

A female villain with blonde hair would be better I think. Craig hasn't had a leading lady with blonde hair yet, well in fact there hasn't been one full stop since The Living Daylights, so that's my view.

No reason why Chastain can't dye her hair though plus an American female character 'done right', would be nice for a change. It doesn't hurt that she's been directed by M himself, either.

I don't think her hair colour matters, I just don't think she's hot enough. Female villian yes, femme fatale, nah.

I think I prefer Onnatop. As a villian she was a proper evil sicko, and looks wise, well getting one last squeeze with her would be worth dying for.

I actually thought Chastain's performance in Zero Dark Thirty was stiff. She was very rarely believable to me. Nothing personal to Ms. Chastain, but I don't understand the glut of nominations and awards being tossed her way.

    Andree Bernard s M's Daughter?

I did think bond investigating M's past would be interesting but am 99% sure this rumor is untrue

I hope not, there is a new M now and lets move on with him.

his past is interesting though with being kidnapped by the IRA perhaps using elements of moonraker for your eyes only and colonel sun one coould construct an interesting plot and since writers are so concerned with pulling back the layers what about a bond film tht is personal for M not bond.

    just a thought

The fact that it isn't going to be a two parted story is already known. But the information about Logans process is new i guess.

Interesting thing is that Mendes has seen this outline!

Yes, i suppose Mendes has seen it so he an tweak it in his own way or to decide if the script is something he can tell in the right way.

Are some people vergot David Arnold is replaced. Strange the interviewer not tell them that and asking what there think about Newman. I think we should first should know more about Bond 24 or i like to see David Arnold making a comeback.
