I don't know yet if it's still playing in Paris, but with the DVD release being imminent (march the 1st, IIRC), I doubt it will reach the 7 000 000 viewers mark.
Except that the most serious "final" figure will be published around May by the CNC I think. And the discrepancies between the CNC figures and the "last" estimates can be up to 200.000 viewers for blockbuster sometimes...
You can look at the 2011 report here :
http://www.cnc-webtv.fr/web_publications/bilan2011/index.htm
You may look at page 35, you will see QoS was France 2's #1 movie of the year...
Note that these professionals round the figures to the nearest 10.000 in this report, while the companies that make the estimates everyone's quoting want to make you believe they're accurate down to +/- 1 ticket ! However even later we'll have new "new estimates" with this weird habit of not rounding anything...
Also, Skyfall is still being shown in a few cinemas in Paris and in other cities. I don't know if the PR will fudge the accounts to make the figures go above 7M for the DVD/BR release, I think "top 1" movie is enough (and won't be much used anyway IMO, box office is almost never used in promotion in France)
Well, the estimated attendance at least keeps on getting larger and larger with time, until it stops. The dollar box office "cumulative" in European countries keeps going up and down from one week to another, you really wonder what you're looking at (I know, it's boring, but truth is often boring :) ).
'Skyfall':

I think, especially looking to 'Skyfall's 11th, 12th and 13th week, it seems 'Skyfall' has a slightly better longevity / stronger holdover. It'll be very close, until the very end. But looking at the figures, I think 'Skyfall' has a slightly better chance of winning this match from 'The Hobbit'.
[The figure you give is the "first 300M$ +" figure for the Hobbit, and is an estimate for today, not for the week]
I feel like giving drugs to an addict, sorry !
Thanks mate :-). You hear guys?? 'it's an estimate as of today, not for the entire 10th week'! Thanks Parachute
As for Hobbit vs Skyfall in the USA, if the discrepancy in the final estimates is less than say 2M$, it will last for months until we have some answer, and it may be probably the studio deciding which is better for the next movies to come IMO (hint : the Hobbit's sequels come sooner, so they may rather fudge this one...).
Also, tomorrow you can see the latest Chinese box office figures on http://english.entgroup.cn/boxoffice/cn/.
So tomorrow another update of the 'Spy-/Action Movie List' :-).
'The Dark Knight Rises' (average ticket price during its run plusminus $6.10):
after 07 screening days: $34.21 Million (02nd place after 'The Amazing Spiderman')
after 14 screening days: $45.27 Million (+ $11.06 Million, 03rd place overall)
after 21 screening days: $51.26 Million (+ $05.99 Million, 03rd place overall)
after 28 screening days: $54.58 Million (+ $03.32 Million, 04th place overall)
after 35 screening days: $55.42 Million (+ $00.84 Million, 09th place overall)
after 42 screening days: $55.89 Million (+ $00.47 Million, 12th place overall)
'Skyfall' (average ticket price during its run plusminus $5.90):
after 07 screening days: $34.51 Million (01st place overall)
after 14 screening days: $50.88 Million (+ $15.98 Million, 01st place overall)
after 21 screening days: $57.25 Million (+ $06.37 Million, 03rd place overall)
after 28 screening days: $59.32 Million (+ $02.06 Million, 07th place overall)
The reason 'Skyfall' is falling harder than 'The Dark Knight Rises' in the same period, is perhaps the premiere of the Chinese LOTR-like fantasy film 'Journey To The West: Conquering The Demons' (Awfull title by the way). The movie has grossed an impressive $104.69 Million after only 8 screening days. It's a massive hit there.
It again proves that Chinese productions still have an advantage over non-Chinese productions. And it could be interesting to see if the success of 'Journey To The West: Conquering The Demons' has an influence on the premiere of 'The Hobbit' in China.
Come on, you can also use it as a reference to all other movies from the same genre :-). I'm also updating the new movie 'Die Hard 5'....
Really?
No, only $100 Million actually.
According to BoxOfficeMojo.com the gross worldwide total now stands at $1,101,301,220. Last week, February 12th, 'Skyfall' stood at $1,100,806,976 with the USA gross of last week, $303,460,116, included. With the new USA figures available, from Monday Feb. 11th until President's Day yesterday, the new USA gross grows with $494,244 to $303,954,360.
It is impressive and rather unusual for James Bond that 'Skyfall' still managed to bring in $494,244 in the USA from +250 theatres. But at the same time it is understandable, as cinemas do not wish to pull the plug yet for a $1.1 Billion blockbuster. The DVD/BluRay premiere of 'Skyfall' does not change that.
The gross foreign total from 'BoxOfficeMojo', including China, has now been updated and stands at $804,104,044 compared to last week. This is the point where I'd like to bring in the figures from the more accurate BoxOffice.com and English.Entgroup.cn. 'BoxOffice.com is usually coming with its foreign figures pretty late. So that's why I like to look at the Chinese figures from 'English.Entgroup.cn' separately. One then gets the following figures per region:
--> $0,000,494,244 = USA Gross 'BoxOfficeMojo.com' 11/02/13 - 18/02/13. excl. China & all other markets..
--> $0,002,060,000 = Chinese Gross 'English.Entgroup.cn' 11/02/13 - 17/02/13. excl. all other markets.
--> $0,004,697,184 = Foreign Gross 'BoxOffice.com' 11/02/13 - 17/02/13. excl. China and USA.
I consider 'BoxOfficeMojo' still my main source for USA figures, whereas 'Entgroup' is more accurate with its Chinese figures. With the above figures taking into account, 'Skyfall' has added another $6,757,184 during the past 7/8 days in the foreign markets (excl. USA, but incl. China).
The total worldwide gross as per today, with all figures included, would now stand at an impressive $1,108,058,404.
Now let's have a look to China. Up there 'Skyfall' slipped to 7th place after being in cinemas there fore 28 consecutive days (Source: English.Entgroup.cn). During its 4th week it grossed $2.06 Million. 'Skyfall' suffered in China from the LOTR-clone 'Journey To The West: Conquering The Demons', which managed to grab an impressive $104.69 during its first 8 screening days.
It's now interesting to compare 'Skyfall's gross in China with that of 'The Dark Knight Rises':
'The Dark Knight Rises' (average ticket price during its run plusminus $6.10):
after 07 screening days: $34.21 Million (02nd place after 'The Amazing Spiderman')
after 14 screening days: $45.27 Million (+ $11.06 Million, 03rd place overall)
after 21 screening days: $51.26 Million (+ $05.99 Million, 03rd place overall)
after 28 screening days: $54.58 Million (+ $03.32 Million, 04th place overall)
after 35 screening days: $55.42 Million (+ $00.84 Million, 09th place overall)
after 42 screening days: $55.89 Million (+ $00.47 Million, 12th place overall)
'Skyfall' (average ticket price during its run plusminus $5.70):
after 07 screening days: $34.51 Million (01st place overall)
after 14 screening days: $50.88 Million (+ $15.98 Million, 01st place overall)
after 21 screening days: $57.25 Million (+ $06.37 Million, 03rd place overall)
after 28 screening days: $59.32 Million (+ $02.06 Million, 07th place overall)
Also in the 'Spy/Action Movies-list', an update of 'Bullet To The Head' (with Sly Stallone), the 5th John McClane film, 'A Good Day To Die Hard' (with Bruce Willis), 'Parker' (with Jason Statham), 'The Last Stand' (with Arnold Schwarzenegger) and 'Side Effects' (directed by Soderbergh).
Note for the reader: Take in mind that for, more or less, accurate comparisons, most of the below action/spy movies are produced in 1987 or later. Actually, most of them were produced after the 1990's. All movies in this list are 2D movies!
Furthermore, I have updated the list in such a way now, so that you can also use it as a 'watchlist'. Movies with a '▪' are part of a spy/actionhero movie franchise. Movies with a '▫' are rebooted movies or remakes. Movies with a '∞' are based on previous tv-series.

On the 'All Time Box Office'-list from BoxOfficeMojo.com 'Skyfall' still stands at the 007th place. It'll be tough for 'our baby' to catch up with 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King'. Still, the 007th place seems a lock for quite some time, as
'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' will most likely end up in this TOP 10 at all.
The standings of the 'All Time Box Office'-list are now:
01) $2,782.3 -- 'Avatar' (2009)
02) $2,185.4 -- 'Titanic' (1998) *2D*
03) $1,511.8 -- 'Marvel's The Avengers' (2012)
04) $1,328.1 -- 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2' (2011)
05) $1,123.7 -- 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon' (2011)
06) $1,119.9 -- 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' (2003) *2D*
07) $1,108.1 -- 'JAMES BOND - SKYFALL' (2012) *2D*
08) $1,081.0 -- 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012) *2D*
09) $1,066.2 -- 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' (2006) *2D*
10) $1,063.2 -- 'Toy Story ' (2010)

The final total could well be $1.111 billion. We've done well. Also great to see it still playing in the USA.
Uh.. woops.
It reached the end? No no. Like with any +900 Million Dollar blockbuster, it now will drag on even longer. As 'Skyfall' cashed in another $8 Million worldwide in the past week ($12 Million the week before), I expect for at least 3 more weeks weekly worldwide grosses of at least $1 Million.
Remember, this would have been the final week for 'Casino Royale'. Sony pulled the plug for the 21st Bond film after that. But I'm not sure if Sony will pull the plug for 'Skyfall' this week. Demand from cinemas for 'Skyfall' is simply....too big compared to the previous two Bond films.
PS : At this theater, the first Hobbit midnight viewing is sold out. Once again, take early reports of "failure" with some doubt then :)
