Look forward to seeing that. Have to say i am a big fan of the DBS so it will be interesting to see?
  • One of the exterior colour choices for the new Aston Vanquish is Skyfall Silver. DBS was available in Quantum Silver and Casino Ice......

Good, now lets see a car that isn't identical to the rest! Maybe their sales wouldn't be so low if they created a car that didn't look like everything they've made since 2002.

It's not the look of the car that needs changing, they are the best looking cars in the world and the porsche 911 hasn't changed much in 20 years and they still sell plenty of those.

The car is not very comfortable over bumps in everyday driving and they are very expensive.Who wants to pay an enormous amount of money to get a back ache.

They should start building suvs as well like porsche, mercedes to increase profits.

I don't see Aston surviving much longer to be honest unless they get taken over by a major player. The 90s rebirth was all thanks to vast amounts of Ford cash. Now they are on their own essentially. Even this investment adds up to virtually nothing in terms of the costs of developing new models. Woild have made sense for Tata to buy them with Jaguar really. They had begun to share platforms when both were part of Ford.

What happened to that little ugly electric car they did? Looked awful.

Since Craig is rather similar to Dalton, how about a '87 Vantage cameo?

THAT's the definition of beauty in the auto world IMO.
    You have great taste, JWESTBROOK!

Would have loved it if they'd brought this one back. So much attitude in that car. So glad the Dalts got to drive it.

Strange that Aston are involved in the SF promo stuff but did not supply a car for the movie. Is there a formal tie in for SF or is this just a one off?

I can how all feel when none of the current Aston weren't supplied in the movie. But I can see them. It just not right. Only the classic DB5. Very disappointing. But tip you all don't hope for a new Aston in Bond 24. Like someone said probably be introduce to the next actor.

Could the estate version of the Rapide Aston Martin Rapide Bertone be suitable for Bond? It will appear in this Geneva Motor show. Well it not in aston Martin web. But look in cars Magazine & Autocar.

The estate is a concept by Bertone, not an official Aston car. I love it, but wish it didn't have the new Rapide's gaping maw of a grill which I really think they've screwed up.

@Skyfall I see your Question. Why won't they use an Aston in Bond 24? I was hopping in Skyfall they provide a new An Aston But they didn't. I might think they might switch him off from An Aston, that all. But I do hope they do give him a new Aston but his real life car if you this.

I don't think Aston is in a great place at the moment. Without the support of Ford they don't have the resources to develop new models and might also struggle to deliver the kind of product placement deal that a Bond movie requires. It is difficult to impossible for small motor companies like this to survive these days without the synergies of being part of a larger group. In a way it is a shame Tata did not buy them although I think they're struggling to make a success of Jaguar so another similarish brand is probably not that appealing.

I wonder if there is anybody there interested in the subject. I wish I was a tiny bit closer.
