    Does anyone agree?

No. Personally I think your ideas sound like something out of a Bond video game from the early noughties, and your idea to 'paint' DC's hair is clearly there to wind up his fans.
  • 1.Excuse me for my terrible English skills, if look my location in profile, you'll understand why I speak English so bad.

    2. Yes, you're right after all. The era of exploding pens and cars with rocket launchers ended :с

I'd like Blofeld back with a garden of death and samurai armour. Christopher Eccleston would be my choice to play him.

I'd like an action scene (preferrably the PTS) involving wingsuits.

I'd like Noel Gallagher, Slash or Rush doing the theme song.

I'd like some better gadgets (EON obviously don't care that much about having realistic gadgets if they allowed the Aston to have machine guns)

A more consistent tone. I love having a balance between fun and serious but don't have a backstory involving child prostitution one minute then a Moore esque scene involving Komodo dragons the next.

    Bond in the new Lotus.

More brutal, Casino Royale esque fight scenes.

And I know I'm repeating myself here but I can't stress this enough, a well designed, normally paced gunbarrel at the beginning of the film.

    The hildebrand rarity

    Yes doing the bond theme

New York city, Monte Carlo, Australia as locations

M requesting Bond to go investigate off the books something personal to him (a way to build trust)

    1.repaint actor's hair to black
2.more unusual gadgets, new Q hit me with his "originality"
3.give 007 acura nsx with flame throwers, armor, machine guns, and a special shield that will allow it to ram the wall and other cars

I love Dan's hair, and think it is just fine. All the people shouting that he dye his hair would end up hating it, that is certain. Plus, how do you explain that? Bond has a mid life crisis and feels like dying his hair black? Pleeeeeeeeeease.

This. Bond in an Acura? Talk about a downgrade, even with all the gadgets.

You mean the one they came out and said they weren't going to make? Yea, that'll be a hoot for the producers to try and get.

Well? I have a few......but? The only thing now is when will we have some news on the release of the next film? Now that ther is no Mendes! I hope we hear something OFFICIAL from Eon within the next 6 months?!!!

Why does Bond need a luxury sports car like that? This isn't F&F or MI:GP.

    Bond in a Honda?

    funny-gif-man-jump-out-the-window_large.gif

They may be reliable cars, but there's no style there. I'd still throw my support behind the Lotus Evora as Bonds next set of wheels.

Gun Barrel Entrance (where it belongs)
Q and M always in contact with 007
    Flirty playfullness with Eve Moneypenny
More gagdets but keep it realistic
Return of the laser watch is a must
Explosive chase scene feauturing the latest Aston Martin
A Bond girl who's Annoying at first
She must be some sort of Agent
Location in Russia (a first for Craig)
A clever and mysterious villian with his own sidistic girl
And a plot which is :
    Thrilling and suspenseful
    Mysterious
    Action packed
    Emotional
    Romantic
    And Humerous

If the gun barrel isn't at the front I'll poop. I thought Mendes did a fine job, but I would like to maybe see Martin Campbell do the next one. Have we forgotten about him already? Nolan is extremely unlikely: these are "producer" movies, not auteur films. Mendes was an exception, and done more as a favor to Craig who is popular with Eon.

I think it's interesting that many posters said "smoking," and I concur.

Other than the gun barrel, the THREE elements I want are:

(1.) Fleming, Fleming, Fleming. There is a TON of material that can be used. For example, both FYEO and LTK used elements from the novel Live and Let Die. There are entire books that can be mined. Just work in some of this material, doesn't need to be wall-to-wall.

(2.) Enough already with gadgets are passe. It's lazy writing, because gadgets are hard to "invent." I want gadgets and they need to be clever.

(3.) No more grumpy Bond! I want Bond to get a mission and do the mission. Additionally, I don't want to know what M's apartment looks like. Or what music Miss Moneypenny listens to (we know already anyway and it was horrifying). I don't care for any further backstory on anything! As they said at the end of SKYFALL, "are you ready to get back to work?"

I'd like them to make them the way they used to!

Really nice interview here with Maibaum during the making of TLD:

It's nice seeing more people wanting to see Campbell return; I love the thought of it. Rewatching CR right now, and I think it's an amazing idea.
Depends if Campbell wants the pressure and stress of it all again? Loved his previous 2 but i am guessing he is happy to out on a high with CR!
  • Ive always dreamed of Iron Maiden doing the theme song for a Bond movie, but i doubt that would ever happen.

@RogueAgent, like I pointed out earlier, the last 'big' film he did was 'Green Lantern,' and we all know how that went. All he has done after that is two TV films. I wonder if he still has what it takes?

Maybe he needs Bond to be good, or maybe now he is getting old. I am of two minds about Campbell coming back to direct one last Bond, with the right script he might give us something great, on the other hand he might lack the energy now.

GE is dire and CR is good but perhaps a little overrated, so personally speaking I would prefer not to have Cambell back.
  • 1. Obviously I want the gunbarrel where it belongs
    2. Some cool gadgets and cars
    3. Keep the plot simple and easy to follow (skyfall)
    4. I know this is controversial but I really would love to see blofeld return :)
    5. A great soundtrack
    6. A little campiness... I love that the series has gotten a lot more serious but its Craigs fourth movie so he deserves his outlandish movie :)

    Agreed on everything.

I think Craig's era has had plenty of outlandish moments in all the films. No matter how serious the films get, they all have those moments stamped with the "it can only happen in a 007 film" sticker.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bond in Canada. They could do a cool bit of Bond vs a sniper in the snow covered Yukon. Bond hasn't been to Canada as far as I can remember.

I'd like to see him back in India and Japan. It would also be nice if he went properly to China.

Some nice previously unused city locations would also be appreciated. Budapest? Marseilles?

Marseille would be great, as it would be a nod to the Union Corse of the novels. There are many beautiful cities and towns in France where Bond could go.

GB @ the front. The full Bond theme and the 007 theme somewhere in the movie, and not just one reference. A new Aston. The interior of his house with MAY.
